At HAECO, we believe a clean and tidy work environment makes a happy worker. We are safer and healthier when we our workplace has exemplary housekeeping. It also increases our efficiency and productivity at work! The HAECO Clutter Clear Week was organized to get the whole HAECO Hong Kong family involved, using 2 hours within the week to declutter and clear unused or unwanted items for the sake of freeing and tidying up spaces. We also set up a Recycling Station for the collection of recyclables from cleared items. Within the week, we collected an astounding 1650 kg of paper and 15 tonnes of metal destined for recycling. Moreover, we gathered more than 1000 pieces of stationaries at the Recycling Station that were up for grabs for staff and for donation to Salvation Army. The week has definitely created insights on waste management and motivates us to continue creating a better work environment and living out a sustainable lifestyle as a company!
