Calling all single moms! Some people call it, “the most wonderful time of the year.” 🎶 We know it as, “the most EXPENSIVE time of the year.” And we’re not singing about it. It’s stressful. Alarm clocks. Lunches to prepare. Homework. So, as school bells get ready to signal the start of a new school year, please remember… • Your sanity is non-negotiable. Delegate or ditch what you can't handle. • "Me time" isn't selfish—it's survival. Pencil it in like you do with dinner time. • And speaking of dinner, frozen dinners won't kill anyone. Neither will mismatched socks. • Your kids' happiness trumps Pinterest-perfect lunches every time. • It's okay if homework makes you cry a little. (Wine helps.) • School forms are evil. Fill them out right away, before they haunt you. • Comparison is the thief of joy. Your best is enough. Today and every day. • Bedtime stories are more important than folded towels. • Most important, the things that matter are love, laughter, and making it through another day knowing that you’ve got this! #singlemomlife #Superwoman

Strengthen Family Bonds with a Gratitude Jar! In today’s fast-paced world, finding simple yet meaningful ways to connect with our loved ones is more important than ever. That’s where the Family Gratitude Jar comes in. It’s a fun and heartwarming activity that not only promotes gratitude but also deepens the bond within families. Here’s how it works: 1. 🎨 Decorate the jar together as a family. Make it personal with stickers, drawings, or labels. 2. 📝 Each day, take a moment to write down what you’re grateful for on colored paper (each family member gets their own color). 3. 📅 At regular intervals, gather as a family, pick a few notes, and read them aloud. 4. ❤️ Reflect on the positive emotions and memories sparked by the gratitude shared. It’s an opportunity to discuss what really matters and appreciate one another more deeply. This simple yet powerful exercise encourages consistent connection and reminds us to focus on the good things in life. It’s especially great for families with kids aged 8 and above. I know what all Mother's want for Mother's Day. If you get the Mom's in your life THIS for Mother's Day, she will love it! This gift is proven. Mother's...ALL Mother's love this gift. When Mother's get this gift, they feel: - Refreshed - Heard - Appreciated - Understood - Seen - Loved And the best part is, you don't have to shop for it. No need to wrap it. It doesn't cost money. Are you ready for the answer? What Mother's really want for Mother's Day is... A nap. Here are some notes on the best naps for Mom's on Mother's Day: 1) The most effective time of day for the nap is right after lunch. 1:00pm to 3:00pm is the sweet spot. 2) A two-hour nap is ideal. Longer if needed. 3) An empty house is a great setting. Mom's nap better if she doesn't have to worry about kids and people barging in during the nap. 4) Don't place a limit on the nap or wake her up. Mom will wake up on her own and let you know when the nap is over. Try it. She'll love it. And you'll be a hero for helping to make it happen. Your #1 Fan, ~ Chris P.S. The nap is best used in addition to all other plans you made for Mom on Mother's Day. Just sayin'.

BE AN ACTIVE CONTRIBUTOR TO THE GROWTH AND SUCCESS OF PEOPLE Growing up, back in the days, I watched my mum go to parties and she didn't go empty. Now while my siblings and I would be back home conscious of mummy's attendance of a party and looking forward to her return with all the goodies especially party jollof rice, come on, who doesn't like party jollof rice?😅😁 It's how my mum would call home before she leaves for that party to ask that one of us go help pick up her gift item from the gift shop. Often times I've had to go get the gift and meet the lady wrapping it up with a gift rap, it was gifts like a set a beautiful mugs, flasks and the likes. No matter how small or not sophisticated as some people would think or say, it was the intentionality of mum to not go empty. And back then, everyone would be served rice and given drinks but, the couple's special gift in a wedding ceremony is usually reserved for those who give gifts. Applying this to our lives in today's world, it's true that anyone who shows up as an active contributor to your growth and success is valued. We don't appreciate people who just come to take from us, without giving back in return. As you begin your week, here's to charge you to be an active contributor to the growth and success of people, don't just play the role of withdrawals but learn to be deliberate in giving to see people succeed and grow. Do have a productive week #Nuel #GrowthNuggets #Growthstrategy #Mondaymotivation #Motivation #Contributingtosuccess #Intentionalitytogrowth

Why Our Family Board Meetings and Thanksgiving Rituals Matter Traditions have a unique power to strengthen family bonds and create lasting memories. One tradition that Shaku and I started with our kids was the monthly family board meeting. No phones, no distractions—just the four of us coming together to celebrate victories, tackle challenges, and plan for the future. Another cherished ritual is our Thanksgiving 'Gratitudes.' This ritual has become a cornerstone of our family time, allowing us to reflect on the good times and set intentions for the year ahead. These rituals have taught us the value of connection, reflection, and intentional living. They’ve helped us grow closer as a family and navigate life's ups and downs with a sense of unity and purpose. At our monthly board meetings, we would share our successes, discuss challenges, and even address complaints. We planned birthdays and vacations, ending each session with a group hug. This tradition became a safe space for open communication and mutual support. During Thanksgiving, we would express our gratitude, even imagining our future achievements as if they were already real. This approach to goal-setting filled us with a sense of certainty and optimism. I encourage you to create your own family traditions. What rituals do you have with your loved ones that bring you closer together? https://lnkd.in/dG7UbWNm Share your stories and let's inspire each other. ♻️ Repost to enlighten others #FamilyTraditions #Gratitude #IntentionalLiving #LifeLessons #DailyInspiration #MyGrowthAcademy
