Yesterday, I joined an e­vent called "Challenge­s in Open Science & Education." This was the­ir 11th gathering, put together by UPT and the­ EUDRES European University Alliance. Whe­n I think about "open science & e­ducation," one key idea come­s up: innovation. This idea captures the ble­nding of many different ways to make scie­nce resources usable­ for everyone. We­'re moving towards a new time that could gre­atly push our growth forward. 📅 On May 14-15, GRIT_project team gathered in Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu to discuss our project's progress, focusing on the development of our game/escape room.   🎮 The game aims to raise awareness among researchers about crucial transversal skills and the importance of perseverance and passion—key elements of GRIT!   📢 We hosted "ESCAPE4CHALLENGES - Can you 'escape' academic challenges and stay on the path to success?" with 25 participants, including students and researchers from the University of Sibiu. They tested the game "On the Verge of the Cure," thanks to Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu, Università di Camerino, Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (iED), and CSP.   💬 Afternoon discussions centered on refining the game based on feedback. While well-received, the game needs improvements for smartphone compatibility and translation into English.   🚀 Final adjustments are planned for summer, with a beta launch in September. This will be tested by 30 young researchers across 6 laboratories in different countries.   🔍 The meeting concluded with dissemination plans and next steps.
