🏌️♂️ We had a tee-rific time swinging into action at the RBC Championship Pro-Am in Calgary yesterday! ⛳️ Our team made some un-fore-gettable memories on the green. Here’s to more hole-in-one moments with great company!
Too many golf puns?
"If you really want to be the best of the best, you have to treat every day like it's a whole new project. There are no shortcuts, no slacking off, and your commitment must be 100%."

Life is incredible, but can be more fragile than we sometimes appreciate.
This October, a team of 6 of us, will be taking on the CHX #MeetYourMountain Challenge 2024, in support of our chosen charity – The Millimetres 2 Mountains Foundation.
This tiny charity, founded by Ed & Louis Jackson, after Ed Jackson (a professional rugby player at the time) suffered a life-changing and hugely traumatic spinal cord injury, leaving him paralysed from the shoulders down. Ed’s journey from hopelessness to climbing some of the highest mountains in the world, is our inspiration to go higher & further, and we hope you’ll take it with us!
For those of you who know me, I am passionate about action sports and being out of my comfort zone where the risks are visible and obvious, as it can teach us our most valuable lessons. At the same time, so can charging down a hill with my little boys on their bikes.
Life is incredibly special, but fragile to the same degree. Our life-circumstances can change in a heartbeat, in the midst of everyday life. That is why I am so passionate about this.
Life-changing can be life-changing if we have the support to make it that way!
We will be competing with 5 other teams (representing their own charities) over 2 days on the Mont Blanc massif, accumulating as many points as we can by covering as much distance, and gaining as much altitude as possible, raising as much fundraising for #M2M as we possibly can.
We will be aiming for around 6km of altitude gain, equivalent to doing twice that of the British 3 peaks challenge, at twice the altitude, where the air is thinner and the summits are higher! We will endeavour to surpass 60km of distance and £12,000, aiming to get on the top step of the podium.
We can of course go fast alone, but we can go further together. Please chuck what you can in our virtual bucket – know that you’re doing something awesome, and I’ll keep you up to date with training, teaming & achieving

Tasmanian greyhound racing clubs are deeply integrated into the local community, actively supporting a wide array of grassroots organisations and initiatives.
In Hobart, the Greyhound Racing Club has embraced local sporting clubs by hosting sporting clubs challenge nights that benefit a variety of clubs across sports ranging from AFL to netball, offering both direct sponsorships and opportunities to win additional funding.
Similarly, the Launceston Club enriches the community with race days tailored for aged care residents, creating memorable social experiences. Moreover, a collective initiative across Tasmanian clubs culminated in a generous $35,220 donation to the Ronald McDonald House Charity, significantly enhancing the support facilities for families of children undergoing medical treatments in Hobart.
These initiatives underline the greyhound racing industry’s dedication to nurturing and giving back to the communities they operate in, reinforcing their role as key players in building and sustaining local community spirit.

In the world of boxing, strategy is everything. Each punch thrown is a calculated move, much like a game of chess. The ultimate goal is not just to strike but to outthink your opponent and deliver that final, decisive blow—checkmate.
As we prepare for the upcoming BBFC Charity fight, this philosophy rings true. It’s about quiet preparation, relentless training, and the power of focus. Victory isn’t just about brute strength, but timing, patience, and precision.
Stay tuned. The time to say checkmate is fast approaching. 🥊👊

Charity golf day – Money Board - $1000 up for grabs.
Hi All,
Intending to try and exceed the amount of money raised for our charity to last year, we are trying some different things.
One of those things is a money board. Typically done in person, but we thought would try to do it, or at least start it online. Doing so will provide an opportunity for our event supporters who can’t make it to the golf day to still support it.
💲1000 up for grabs for the winner and 💲1000 💵💵💵💵 raised for our charity, The Mens Shed Townsville. How good is that!!
Early Bird Sales:
▶ interested in purchasing numbers for the money board can contact Tony via email (tony@cbrpowerservices.com) or phone (0439361610).
▶ Numbers will be tentatively allocated upon initial inquiry, with payment pending.
▶ If payment is not received within 48 hours, the allocated number(s) will become available again.
▶ Remaining numbers will be sold on the golf day itself.
Drawing and Prize Presentation:
▶ The plan is to draw the money board after the golf day during the prize presentations.
▶ If there are still a significant number of tickets outstanding by that time, the draw may be deferred until all tickets are sold.
Communication:
▶ While doing this remotely can introduce some challenges we will aim to negate this by providing updates regularly as to the progress of the sales and post photos showing available numbers.
If there are any questions or concerns please call Tony at any time.
