Private practice in primary care has been in decline for years. When I first started recruiting there were many more private groups and solo physicians. Consolidation, M&A and retirement has lowered the # of private practice groups significantly. Managing a medical practice's budget can often be a daunting task for you as a physician. The balancing act between financial management and providing quality healthcare can turn into a tightrope walk, pulling you away from your primary focus - the patient. Enter CenterWell Senior Primary Care. At the heart of our operations is a distinct model that effectively addresses this issue. A key player in our approach is the Center Administrator, who takes on the pivotal role of managing our practice budget. This allows you to concentrate solely on your areas of expertise. But that's not all! Our unique Care Team model of practice ensures that every aspect of patient care is looked after. From the patient's arrival to their regular check-ups, each step is meticulously planned and executed. This model allows us to allocate resources effectively, keeping our budget in check without compromising the quality of care. By solving the budgetary challenges, CenterWell empowers you to focus on what truly matters - delivering unparalleled patient care and continually honing your professional skills. Because at CenterWell, we believe that when our physicians grow, we grow. Hey! I am actively interviewing for roles in Lexington, KY and Kansas City. Let's talk.

Primary Care Consultant | Keynote Speaker | Specialising in Consulting - Clinical Governance, Clinical & Operational Development, Financial & Patient experience
🗓️Last week, I called a couple of practices to connect with fellow colleagues. Shockingly, I had to wait 23 minutes at one and 30 minutes at another — and this was at 11 am, a time you'd expect to be less busy. I can only sympathise with patients - it’s a common frustration for many, highlighting the pros and cons of keeping phone lines always open. ➡️ On one hand, patients can reach us at any time, but the reality is that long waiting times are still a challenge. 🌳At our practice, we've worked tirelessly to streamline our processes. This Monday, our average call waiting time was just 2 minutes and 25 seconds. What's more, we tracked how quickly patients were seen or spoke to a doctor. The average? Under 2 hours. And over 90% of these appointments were face-to-face. 💭Imagine a service where you can see or speak to a doctor within 2 hours and the call waiting time averages less than 3 minutes, even on a busy Monday. 🤝This is not just a vision; it’s what we’ve achieved through innovation, hard work, and a culture of continuous improvement. By refining our workflows and using technology effectively, we’re ensuring patients get the timely care they deserve. 🔑 It’s possible when you have the right processes and team in place. #NHS #primarycare #Elmtree

What does it mean to be provider-led? At Tribal Health, it means you can turn to us for support, guidance and backup 24/7. Our leaders are experienced clinicians who understand your challenges as a physician or advanced practice provider working in a demanding clinical environment. They also work side by side with you. Whatever you need, whenever you need it, our Chief Medical Officer, Chief Nursing Officer, medical directors and other leadership are available to help. Because we know how it goes with other provider networks - you parachute into a new assignment and try to navigate the unfamiliar faces and new dynamics alone. Run into a problem? Feel isolated? You're on your own. Not at Tribal Health. We connect you to the support and resources you need so you can feel confident and comfortable on the job, and focus on your patients. Our mission is to transform Indigenous healthcare - and that includes improving both the patient and provider experience. https://lnkd.in/dgxiWuev #physicianjobs #physicianassistantjobs #nursepractitionerjobs #providerexperience #healthcarestaffing #medicalstaffing

What I DON’T miss about working inpatient: mystery liquids on scrubs, doing my documentation at my grandmother’s death bed (true story), waking up to texts at 5 am and falling asleep with my phone most nights What I DO miss: the camaraderie on the floor when you get through a tough day, seeing a patient walk again, the look on a family member’s face on discharge day after a month-long struggle, IYKYK Patient care is a lot of things — I don’t think the character limit on this post can handle a full description. And while it’s an incredibly challenging job, it’s also just as rewarding on so many levels. I don’t think there’s much we can do about mystery liquids, but that doesn’t mean we can’t tackle the rest. #healthinnovations #digitalheath #healthcare

🚀 Teamwork Makes the Dream Work! 🚀 Happy Thursday, healthcare heroes! 🌟 At The Texas Theory Group, we believe that teamwork isn't just a buzzword—it's the heartbeat of our mission. A while back, I stopped seeing healthcare through the eyes of a paramedic alone and started advocating for patient centricity. From my years responding to emergencies, I knew the system was adept at addressing immediate crises. Yet, I saw that ongoing patient care often lacked a personalized touch. And no: - It didn't reduce my respect for the critical role of emergency care. - It didn't imply that healthcare workers weren't doing their absolute best within the system. - It didn't mean that traditional healthcare practices were all flawed. What it did mean was that there was room for growth – for a system that listens to and incorporates patient voices as a standard practice. Since I shifted my focus: - I've been part of initiatives that increase patient involvement in care planning. - I've witnessed the development of policies that prioritize patient feedback. - I've contributed to educational programs that equip patients to advocate for themselves. "From the ambulance to the advocacy table," is a journey I often reflect on. And a decade later, I've never been clearer on my reasons to champion patient-centric healthcare. The result? A richer dialogue between patients and healthcare providers, more nuanced care plans, and a system increasingly responsive to the unique stories each patient brings. As a former paramedic turned patient advocate, I believe in the power of this approach to heal not just the ailment but the whole person. #patientexperience #patientempowerment #patientempowerment #healthcarereform #patientadvocacy
