"Robusthedskommisionen" - Commity of robustness" Almost can't say it out loud without getting a bit tired. ... It really takes the price as the most bureaucratic title for something that is actually worth looking into. So despite the boredom, I made it part of my presentation when talking to European companies and cluster organisations about doing business in the Danish healthcare sector. Thanks to Nanna Broch Mortensen and the Danish Life Science Cluster for letting me participate in the webinar! #lifescience #clustering #WHINN #Exelliving ~ Invest in Odense ~ Invest in Denmark ~

Great to read that QNTM Labs® is hiring! 🎉 Good job, Jack Egelund and team 👏 Odense’s bio- and life science industry has been growing tremendously the last couple of years, and the young company QNTM Labs (established in 2020) is part of that story: In 2021 and 2022 they got investments on board, last year they opened a new state-of-the-art laboratory, and in March Jack Egelund started as new CEO bringing knowhow and network from the established pharma industry #lifesciencefyn #investinodense
While our LinkedIn profile may have been a bit dormant lately, our company certainly hasn’t been! We’ve been busy expanding our laboratory capacity and our team has been working hard. Therefore, over the past few weeks, we’ve welcomed five new talented team members who have already settled in and made a fantastic addition to our team. We’re excited to share this growth with you and look forward to the continued progress and success ahead! ⭐👨🔬 Please give a warm welcome to our new team members!🙌 Unfortunately, we only managed to catch four of them in this picture 🏃♀️ From the left, we would like to welcome: After two years of working in Malta, Lidija Pakalnickaite has traded the sun and warmth to join our team as a QC Specialist in Odense. She will ensure the meticulous processing and review and approval of analytical data. With experience in both laboratory work and documentation, Lidija will support our processes both in- and outside the lab. She is known for being very communicative and thorough. Nete V. Michelsen, our new QC Manager & Project Specialist, is responsible for overseeing lab operations and development. With 13 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, she has played a key role in ensuring quality through her work in both QA and QC. Nete is not only highly quality-conscious but also has an embracing approach that will surely foster collaboration and growth within the team. Philip Tusøe, our new QA Manager, will ensure the maintenance and optimization of the QMS so that it always complies with GMP. Philip has extensive experience with GMP and project management. He is always open for a chat, a joke, or showing you his rock collection that fluoresces under UV light! Camilla Louise Poulsen, our new Sales and Customer Service Manager, will secure the commercial functions of the business alongside our CEO. In addition, she will support our marketing strategy. Camilla is very communicative and will always strive to understand and meet customer needs in the best way possible. Lastly, Jenna Carlsson has joined our team as a QA Specialist. She will work closely with Philip on the QMS to ensure it is running smoothly. With several years of experience in QA, Jenna has extensive knowledge of regulations and analytical development. Additionally, she is highly solution-oriented.

“We cannot continue on our current path. Biosolutions are a Danish stronghold, and we must find green and sustainable alternatives to replace, among other things, pesticides.” These words were penned by the Danish Minister of Business following his visit to Nordic microbes, accompanied by our mayor, Peter Rahbæk Juel, last Monday. Nordic Microbes is a leading company in Odense’s biosolutions sector, and indeed, Denmark is at the forefront of this industry. According to Børsen and DI Bio, the growth potential is enormous. 🌿You can meet Nordic Microbes and other companies and thought leaders at the conference, “Biosolutions - in a European Perspective,” on November 28th. Here we will discuss the industry, investment opportunities, and strategies to commercialize and scale new bio inventions. The conference is hosted by Food & Bio Cluster Denmark, Invest in Odense, DI BIO, Life Science Fyn and Syddanske Forskerparker https://lnkd.in/ddRA6-yE #biosolutions #sustainable #cityofodense

Earlier this week Food & Bio Cluster Denmark, Export and Investment Fund of Denmark (EIFO) and Invest in Odense hosted a Pyrolysis investor event in the City of Odense Around 80 people participated representing all corners of the Danish ecosystem: Entrepreneurs, building plants, public and private funds, with an interest in investing, business associations, authorities and the necessary suppliers and consultants It is still a fairly new industry and I learned a lot (!) from speakers sharing analysis, experiences, excitement and worries about this new industry, which can play a crucial role in the green transition of the coming years Some takeaways: - Denmark is among the pioneers in the pyrolysis industry - The Danish national strategy for pyrolysis is close to release -10 billion DKK (more than 1.3 billion EURO) is already prioritised for ensuring carbon storage via biochar. - The needed technology to scale the industry is there - Both the industry and investors wait for regulations and terms. (today the industry moves forward on dispensations from existing rules which makes it a bit uncertain for investing and scaling the industry. - there are public funding opportunities - and there is a certainty across the sector, that the needed regulations will be adopted, both on a national and European level. Want to know more: - Food & Bio Cluster Denmark has registered 23 Danish projects for developing the pyrolysis industry and runs a network on biochar and pyrolysis - CIP Fonden has a list of links to several analyses on biochar and bioresources on their webpage #pyrolysis #greentechnology #investinodense

Meet Nikolai Jørgensen, the CEO and co-owner of DANSK STÅLMONTAGE A/S, whom I visited in the summer heat. Four big pyrolysis plants are placed around Denmark, and together with AquaGreen ApS, Dansk Stålmontage has produced all four of them in their production facilities near the harbour in Odense. Also, we talked about the company's plans and possibilities. A lot of international customers have shown interest in pyrolysis plants (actually AquaGreen expects to grow significantly in the coming years), and on top of that, the Danish Government prioritizes investing DKK 10 billion (more than 1.3 billion EURO) in ensuring storage of carbon via biocoal. Curious about the pyrolysis industry? Sign up for the pyrolysis investor event in Odense https://lnkd.in/dARNKx3B (Free admission; Language: Danish) The event is hosted by EIFO, Food & Bio Cluster Denmark and Invest in Odense #CarbonCapture #PyrolysisTechnology #GreenTechnology #Sustainability #ClimateAction #Denmark #Odense #EIFO #FoodBioClusterDenmark #lovemyjob

👌🌱With The new “Agreement on a green Denmark”, Denmark invest DKK 10 billion (more than 1.3 billion EURO) in pyrolyses technology.
