Virtual Reality is transforming #Real #Estate: Are you ready for this? 🏙️ At the forefront of the real estate industry, #Virtual #Reality (VR) and #Augmented #Reality (AR) are being leveraged to revolutionise the customer experience, design, and development of new buildings and spaces. To solve the challenges of traditional property viewing and design, VR and AR are being adopted to recreate the interaction and #visualisation of #properties virtually!🏡 According to #PWC, The implementation of VR and AR technology has resulted in improved customer experiences, expanded visualisation capabilities, and transformed design processes, with architects and designers leveraging VR to test and visualise their plans and collaborate with stakeholders in virtual environments. 💡 How could this future look like? Below a great example created by LNG Studios! #VirtualReality #RealEstate #Innovation
It's a great concept video, but from a developer's perspective, it has many cocepts that are not yet available / feasable. For example the restrictions to access the camera feed will not let us to use AI for semantic segmetation of our surrounding, other than what the plattform providers like Meta or Apple allow for now. And a lot of it would be needed for this concept to work properly. But it's just a matter of time.
Hi Basti Schütz, great post—thanks for sharing! I am very interested to see how VR will impact the real estate market. The use cases for B2C are still evolving, as the cost of creating digital twins has been a barrier. However, as LNG Studios’ video shows, there are many intriguing applications beyond digital twins. Is the PWC study publicly available? I would love to read more recent market studies on VR. There were many insightful publications during the metaverse hype in 2022/23, but lately it was harder to find good ones.
I would be more interested in how to do remodeling and room additions to SF homes, than the use case you have shown. Finding local knowledge is easy, finding someone that can predict a successful remodel on time and under budget carries more risk and can be used by buyers renter and agents.
if at least half of these solutions can be automated, this is a revolution in AR

Absolutely love this. Especially for an industry that has been stuck in the 80's on most technology. Especially on the federal level.
Dreaming of job. So excited to make it real.
Great insights, Basti Schütz VR and AR are truly game-changers in real estate. Excited to see how this tech will shape the future!
This is another reason to beleive that the role that Microsoft played in the PC Era and Google in the Internet Era, is going to be played by companies like Meta and startups like World Labs in the AI Era.
