Thank you to all the employees, partners and friends who participated in the 2024 Lunda Cup charity golf tournament! Because of your generosity, we were able to present a check for $31,379.18 to the Minnesota and Wisconsin Chapters of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), enabling them to continue their life-changing mission of saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide. It’s a privilege to be able to give back to the communities where we live and work. This wouldn’t have been possible without all of you: our participants, sponsors, and volunteers. And, once again, congratulations to tournament winners Matt Jones, Trevor Hoople, Chad Hoople, and Matt Juillerat, we'll see you next year to defend your title! #lundacup #afsp #lundagivesback #lifeatlunda #lovewhatyoudo #weowntheculture #culturefirst #lundaconstruction #lunda

We have trained 100 participants in suicide prevention this year with every participant recommending the training and an average rating of 4.8 out of 5. 99% of participants felt able to have a conversation about suicide. Suicide prevention is not a topic we inherently want to learn about, there's a hesitance that comes from the perception of being uncomfortable, but that doesn't last once you have completed the course. Talk to us today about how we can help your organisation, charity, members or communities. #suicideprevention #suicidepreventionscotland Louise

Did you know that having a legal Will in place is a powerful way to protect the people and causes you love? November is National Make-A-Will Month! This the perfect time to create a Will that dictates what happens to your assets, your cherished possessions , and your legacy when you’re no longer here. Making a Will is a crucial step to ensure your wishes are carried out as you want. Why make a Will? 1) Minimize Stress: Make the process easier for your family during a difficult time. 2) Protect your Children: Designate guardians for your children if you’re not there to care for them. 3) Charitable giving: By including charities you care about in your estate plan, you can ensure that Hope House Community Hospice, and other charitable organizations, can continue providing hope, help and healing in our community for generations to come. 4) Estate Planning: Minimize tax liabilities, and ensure an efficient transfer of your assets. Share your thoughts with us about Wills and estate planning in the comments below! Let’s encourage one another to take this important step towards securing our legacies. #makeawill #hopehousehospice #estateplanning #legacyplanning #makeawillmonth #peaceofmind #protectyourassets

Two thirds of retail stock loss is driven by 10% of shop thieves!!!! These persistent and prolific offenders are often caught in the cycle of addiction, and if you don’t tackle the route cause you simply don’t tackle the problem!!! The NBCS foundation raisies money for some fantastic causes that helps and supports those individuals to break the cycle of addiction by addressing its route causation. Every single penny raised at this event will go to those just causes. Monies raised will not go into our profit pot, pay a large bonus to its employees or buy a fancy car. It will be put back into supporting those organisations that will ultimately help our industry. Next are proud to support the NBCS foundation and we hope that retailers, vendors and other organisations alike are prepared to do the same, please share this post as far and wide as you can. It’s simple…buy a table, invite your colleague’s, get dressed up, have a few glasses of wine or a beer or two, have a dance, enjoy a night of socialising with your peers and pretend your at the Eco Power Stadium or Anfield 😉, it really is as simple as that!!! Rather than discussing money for the first time while the family is gathered around the TV watching football 🏈📺, approach the topic weeks ahead of time if possible. Casually mentioning that it’s on your mind will help plant the seed🌱 for a future convo with your loved ones and get them thinking about their plan (or lack of one). For more ways to talk money with your loved ones this holiday season, see this week’s blog.▶️ https://lnkd.in/gTwGguqb #forneylawtx #estateplan #willsandtrusts #powerofattorney #healthcaredirectives #guardianship #protectyourfamily #kidsprotectionplan #assetprotection #legacy #familylegacy #buildyourlegacy #estateplanningattorney #txestateplanningattorney #personalfamilylawyer #houston #adulting #smallbusiness #txsmallbusiness #businessconsulting #txnonprofit #nonprofit

Contribution and Giving Back: 1) Volunteer for a cause you are passionate about. 2) Engage in acts of kindness and generosity. 3) Contribute to your community or a charitable organization. 4) Think of yourself less is to think of yourself less often. 5) Look for one opportunity a day to help someone, and do not look for credit from your peers, keep your act to yourself.
