We need your attention. June 10th is Equal Research Day. This day commemorates 31 years that women have been required to be part of clinical research. However, we have not come as far as we imagined. Many studies still do not include women, much less women of color, pregnant women, and others. If you have questions about why the medical body of knowledge is so far behind, this is your answer. Join us in this important movement to include women in clinical trials and to report sex-based differences in the outcomes. This is such an important initiative! It's astonishing to think that it took until 1993 for women to be required in U.S. clinical research. The gender health gap has real, tangible impacts on women's lives, and it's crucial that we address these disparities.
