By now everyone likely knows it's Internal Audit Month - formerly known as Internal Audit Awareness Month. I like the way The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. has rebranded the month - taking the emphasis off of "awareness about who we are" and shifting it to a "celebration of what we do!" But this month also presents an opportunity to reflect on ourselves and what the future might hold if we are too complacent.
