Gaon ki dhool se stadium ki roshni tak: The rise of Kabaddi ! From the dusty village grounds to the shining lights of international stadiums, Kabaddi has come a long way. As the Pro Kabaddi Season 11 auction concluded its first day, we witnessed an incredible milestone – more than six players were sold for ₹1 crore+, a significant jump from previous seasons where only two or three crossed this mark. What makes this moment even more special is how this local Indian sport, which got its big break in 2014, has now become a beacon of hope and ambition for thousands of athletes. These players are not just getting recognized; they are being compensated for the years of hard work, dedication, and perseverance they've put in. Kabaddi’s rise is more than just a sporting achievement – it's a movement that is inspiring a new generation of kids who now believe in the possibility of pursuing a career in a sport that was once just a part of local tradition. The financial growth of the league reflects a growing respect for these athletes who have trained tirelessly, often without the resources other mainstream sports have. Here’s to the continued rise of Kabaddi – changing lives, transforming communities, and inspiring millions. The future of Indian sports is bright, and Kabaddi is leading the charge. #Kabaddi #ProKabaddiLeague #Inspiration #Sports #AthleteJourney #IndianSports #PKLSeason11 #DreamsComeTrue

Meet Sheetal Devi: The Indian Archer with No Arms🎯 Sheetal, a 17-year-old from Jammu, is rewriting the rules of archery by competing internationally using only her legs and back. 🥇 She won the bronze medal at the 2024 Paralympics in the mixed team compound event. 💪 Born with phocomelia, a rare disorder that results in undeveloped or absent limbs, Sheetal's journey is nothing short of extraordinary. 🌟 Her introduction to archery came at the age of 15, despite growing up in Kishtwar, Jammu & Kashmir, with no access to the sport. 🏹 In 2022, everything changed when she met coaches Kuldeep Vedwan and Abhilasha Chaudhary. Together, they developed a custom device that enabled Sheetal to harness her unique abilities. 🔥 Sheetal's story is a testament to the power of will, perseverance, and the human spirit. She is living proof that no obstacle is insurmountable with the right mindset and support. 🙏 No one motivates me more than Sheetal Devi - her courage, grit, and determination inspire us all. #Inspiration #Paralympics #Archery #Determination #india #sports #digitalmarketing

WOMEN IN SPORTS If we consider PRO KABBADI AND KUROKO NA BASKET as analogous national level tournaments then : 1) Touou Academy(Aomine Daiki) = Patna Pirates(Pradeep Narwhal), Yosen High(Muraskibara Atsuhi)= Bengal Warriors(Might Maninder) and Bengaluru Bulls(Pawan Kumar Serawat)= Shutoku High(Midorima Shintaro). 2) I have made an previous post regarding this related to this too. I believe that Momoi Tatsuya was the seventh miracle, without her KnB OVA videos would'nt be that much comical and good. Without her Akashi Seijuro, would'nt have managed to win three national level championships for Teiko. 3) So, what if according to (1) and (2), they allow an woman to be an part of the "Starting Seven". Women would'nt be allowed in raids, though. The same thing could be done vice versa in women Pro Kabbadi formats. a) The league will get even more viewership, viewership will increase by double amount. b)If there could be an dangal(as shown in Dangal movie) between man and woman, then why not Pro Kabbadi?

To my mind, Sports Science and High Performance centres are the first of its kind in the country. SS significantly enhances athletic performance by integrating scientific principles into training, recovery, and injury prevention. It provides athletes with data-driven insights, personalized training programs, and advanced recovery techniques, leading to improved performance, reduced injury risk, and prolonged athletic careers. Similarly, High-Performance Centres (HPCs) contribute to sports excellence by providing state-of-the-art facilities, advanced training programs, and scientific support to athletes. These centres focus on enhancing athletes' performance through specialized coaching, sports science, and recovery techniques, ultimately helping them achieve their highest potential. LegalDeli.in

When we talk about Multi-Club Ownership (MCO), the usual focus is on the same entity owning multiple clubs playing in the same sport across different countries. A couple of weeks ago, I discussed about the multi-franchisee ownership (MFO) in Indian sports by GMR Sports and JSW Sports Pvt Ltd. Today we will take a look at the multi-franchisee ownership (MFO) by Shrachi Sports, which is the sport investment and development arm of Shrachi Group, one of eastern India’s largest and most reputed business conglomerates. An unique aspect of this MFO is that the ownership of Shrachi Sports is spread across 7 Indian sport leagues: Hockey India League, Indian Super League, Pro Panja League, Indian Racing League, Bengal Pro T20 League, UP Kabaddi League and TPL - Tennis Premier League. Furthermore, Shrachi Sports has invested only in Indian sport franchisees and in the words of Rahul Todi, this is to empower India to rule the world of sports in the coming years. Furthermore, Shrachi Sports also sponsors Goa Challengers through its brand called Athlead and is also involved in the promotion of the Bengal Football Premier League, an ISL style football league for West Bengal. It would be interesting to follow how the group translates its years of success from the world of business to the world of sports. #MCO #SportBiz #SportBusiness #IndianSports

Odisha has made remarkable strides in sports development over the past decade, setting a new benchmark for the rest of the country. With a focus on building world-class infrastructure, such as the Kalinga Stadium and other specialized sports facilities, the state has positioned itself as a key player in the global sports arena. Odisha’s strategic investments have not only brought prestigious events like the Hockey World Cup to its doorstep but have also created opportunities for homegrown athletes to rise on the international stage. This consistent effort, backed by government support, has cultivated a thriving sports ecosystem that prioritizes athlete welfare and development across a range of sports disciplines. Other Indian states would do well to follow Odisha’s lead, as the results speak for themselves. By adopting a similar model of comprehensive sports development, we can ensure a brighter future for athletes and sports culture across the nation.
