🙌🏻This is a one of kind intense pessary training course for medical professionals. 12 hr CPD certificate where you gain knowledge and confidence in advising and fitting pessaries. ➡️Clinic papers provided 🎁Bonus videos on TSS 🤔Would you know when to choose a pessary with a support membrane and no membrane? ➡️There are certain conditions and reasons why you would not choose one with a membrane. ➡️This course will take you through all the pessaries developed and introducing new ones about to hit the market. ➡️We discuss in small groups (breakout rooms) genuine case studies where you learn from each others experiences. ➡️The pro's & cons of pessaries ➡️Who can & can't use them and why 📊The POP Q explained in detail ➡️Dealing with V. Cysts with a pessary and determining if it's an actual cyst or cystocele. (Many get misdiagnosed) ➡️Pessaries post surgery and do they need them? ➡️Pessaries for incontinence ➡️UTIs, why so many get them and what should we do from a pessary perspective. ➡️Looking at OAB and how to help the detrusor muscle without meds. 🤔Are you teaching patients how to do a correct Valsalva manoeuvre? I've read on SM too many women say their doctor told them to 'just push like you were pushing out a baby or having a big poo'. This is not the right approach and can do further ligament damage!! As a breath coach instructor I'll be taking you through some techniques to help you teach your patients 🫁How to breathe to reduce pain 🫁How to breathe to relax the pelvic floor during a pessary fitting 🫁How to breathe to enable the brain, diaphragm and pelvic floor to work in sync. No good doing PFME if they can't connect with the diaphragm on a 360 basis. Check out the bio for the full agenda. You won't be disappointed in the course. If you have done the previous course, there one is slightly different. Special discounts for those who previously have done this course. Advocate to raise aesthetic medicine and surgery standards. Doctorate candidate in Gen-AI for Aesthetic Medical Business & Education.
We place great importance on all forms of feedback, recognizing its value in shaping our courses. It’s a common experience for doctors to gain a deeper appreciation of our training upon completion. They often have 'ah-ha' moments as they realize the significance of the detailed and seemingly minor pieces of information imparted during the course, understanding how these can make a substantial difference in their practice. As an education-focused organization, our aim is not to provide ad-hoc, sideline training or to upsell products. Instead, we dedicate our efforts to meticulously planning and supporting our certified doctors in achieving superior patient outcomes safely. Being ECAMS certified is synonymous with enhancing patient satisfaction, fostering loyalty, and crucially, minimizing complications. Choose to be ECAMS certified – it’s a decision that elevates your practice.
We often receive feedback from experienced surgeons expressing how unique and valuable our courses are, a realization that typically dawns upon them after attending and recognizing the worth of their investment. Unlike opting for multiple less expensive courses, our program offers comprehensive learning under one roof, with the added benefit of acquiring practical insights and techniques often overlooked or undisclosed in other programs. Since 2008, ECAMS has been dedicated solely to education, with our focus not divided by part-time training commitments or the promotion of products or devices. Our faculty, boasting an average of over 20 years of experience each, cumulatively offer 700 years of knowledge and expertise – a depth you are unlikely to find elsewhere. This wealth of experience is continually refreshed as our faculty members regularly update their skills and seek innovative ways to impart knowledge effectively, aiming for tangible outcomes for their students. This commitment to excellence is why ECAMS certified doctors consistently demonstrate fewer complications and higher patient satisfaction. The trust and loyalty they earn from their patients are a testament to the quality of training they receive from us, creating a positive ripple effect in their professional practice. Join us to gain more happier patients. Next course is on 22 April, 25-26April 2024. Have you ever met a “surgical monster?” A complete command and control junkie, someone who loves dominating the room. Assertiveness, strength, and control are all important traits in the OR - but I’m sure you’ve met a surgeon or two that takes these to the extreme, outside the OR as well. Unfortunately much of this pattern can be traced back to surgical training. And to a broader extent, the training that all physicians and providers go through. As one recent surgeon I met with shared, “I learned to be a monster, Gail.” And while the stereotype is largely of male surgeons, surgical training has a serious impact on female surgeons as well. In last week’s KevinMD piece (link in comments), I examine how damaging surgical training and medical training can be, and walk through the step-by-step process physicians can go through to let go of these patterns. Give it a read in the comments. What are your thoughts? Does medical training set physicians up for success?

🔪Surgical Trainees: Successful surgery starts hours before: 3 Step Guide Do you Agree? Please add more! ⏰1: Schedule patients for your operating list. ‼️This is critical. Consider if they live alone and have no escort, a common reason patients are cancelled on the days. ➡️Do they need a medical pre-operative or elderly medicine, multi-specialty review to determine benefit vs risk, in chronic conditions. ☝🏽Are the patients appropriate for a weekend day case or need a weekday with an inptient stay afterwards. 📑2: Read the patient notes and review their scans and reports, book any outstanding investigtions and Flag this up to the operating consultant and operating managers. 🩻BTW to learn you need to look at scans first then make your mind up and check the radiologist report. 👩⚕️3: Consent patients yourself in clinic (best practice and should really be the standard) BUT if not possible come early and consent patients. #surgicaltrainee #coresurgicaltraining #residentdoctor The Royal College of Surgeons of England Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

Doing something different to get a different result. As Canadian (and all) orthopedic residency programs look to start training a new cohort (and generation) of surgical trainees, PrecisionOS is proud to be part of their journey. Healthcare is rooted in tradition but change, as we know, is the only constant. Globally, the problem every program director agrees on is we need to provide our trainees with more hands on practice and a tool for assessment. Thinking differently about how to provide this is to a new generation of learners is why a large majority of all Canadian Orthopedic Residency programs are working with our solution. To be able to complement their education with an idea that started with 3 guys in a basement, is an honour for us and our entire team.
