I'm thrilled to announce a game-changing moment in my career - the successful execution of the first-ever ApplePay transaction using cutting-edge Band 48 in the CBRS spectrum. This isn't just a technical triumph; it's a step towards solving a problem that affects us all in crowded settings. 🔹 **Why This Matters**: We've all been there - trying to make or take payments at a busy convention center or festival, only to be hindered by sluggish network connections. Frustrating, right? London-based Simpler. has secured €9 million in a pre-Series A funding round Founded in 2021 by Rania Lamprou, Alex Kyriakopoulos, and Spyros Mandekis, Simpler offers a 'checkout-as-a-service' #fintech platform that seamlessly integrates payments, shipping, and loyalty programs into a single system. This innovation simplifies operations for merchants and provides customers with a smooth, one-click buying experience across multiple stores and channels, aiming to revolutionize the checkout experience across Europe, focusing on the U.K., Italy, and Spain. With over 250 merchants and more than half a million registered shoppers already on board, Simpler's platform accelerates the checkout process by 50%, registers 31% more customers, offers four times more payment methods, and boosts repeat purchases by 20% through its #Simpler Coins rewards system. The €9 million investment was led by VentureFriends, with participation from MMC Ventures and LAMDA Development S.A..
