Life is short and it can catch you off guard. Yesterday, while standing on a windy, wild cliff top beside a statue that commemorated a little girl who had been swept off that very cliff, my seven-year-old was nearly lifted off her feet. The strong gust caught her off guard and her jacket like a sail, and for a moment, she billowed backwards threatening to take flight. It was a stark reminder of how life can change in an instant, like the wind. I’m all for art and sculpture, but I couldn’t help but wonder why they hadn’t spent the money on fences or barricades to prevent such a tragedy from happening again. Sheesh. In light of all of that, my seven-year-old and I are now planning to write a kids picture book about, “the girl in the flowery coat who sailed around the world.” Working title. 😉 Marissa Brand - Brand from the Inside Out #GWinfluencer #getgutsybrand #brandinsideout #brandstrategy
A worst nightmare that began the theme of a new book, I LOVE how you and your daughter were able to do that. Testament to your fantastic relationship ✨💟
I'm all for the adventure of writing a book, but STAY SAFE!!
