Kim Kardashian, the reality star turned business mogul, is often in the spotlight for different reasons, may it be her various ventures or , of course, a lot of gossip. But one thing we can not deny: the ability to balance a multitude of roles in her life. While it's true that Kim Kardashian has privileges and resources that most can only dream of, there are valuable lessons to be learned from how she manages her incredibly busy life (Harvard seems to agree). The Juggling Act 1. Time Management: Kim Kardashian is a master of time management. She allocates specific time slots for her businesses, her family, her reality show, and even her studies. While most of us may not have her level of resources, effective time management is something we can all learn and apply in our lives. 2. Delegation: Kim understands the importance of delegation. She has a team of experts to manage her various businesses, allowing her to focus on strategic decisions. While we may not have personal assistants, learning to delegate tasks can help reduce our workload. A Life of Multitasking 3. Multitasking: Kim often combines activities like work and family time. She's known to take her children to meetings and shoots, making the most of her time. While not everyone can do this, it's a reminder that finding ways to combine responsibilities can be efficient. 4. Pursuing Passions: Kim's decision to study law alongside her busy schedule is a testament to her determination. It highlights that no matter how packed our lives are, we can still pursue our passions and dreams. The Privilege Factor 5. Acknowledging Privilege: Kim Kardashian acknowledges her privilege and uses it to make a difference. Her advocacy for criminal justice reform is an inspiring example of using her resources for a greater purpose. 6. Soooo, while Kim Kardashian's life may seem unattainable for most, there are valuable lessons to be learned from her. The partnership between SKIMS and the National Basketball Association (NBA), WNBA (Women's National Basketball Association), and USA Basketball really is a game changer! This partnership is fantastic for all brands because they can both reach a larger audience than they already have been and continue to expand their brand image. Specifically for SKIMS, they are now able to build on their functional, psychological, and monetary value; according to Kellogg Executive Education's textbook, Kellogg on Marketing, these are the three key dimensions that brands use to create customer value. The pairing with the NBA shows the functionality of SKIMS because it really helps inform the customers and consumers of the functional performance and durability that will now be associated with the brand. The NBA, WNBA, and USA Basketball have done a great job of creating emotional bonds between themselves and their audience; by SKIMS using well known athletes in their advertisement, they have recognized this emotional connection and are using it to their advantage. Lastly, they are generating financial value because they are showing their consumers that these well known (and highly paid athletes) are buying and wearing their products, which will encourage the more typical consumer to buy and wear the products as well. All of the brands within this new pairing are extremely dedicated to diversity, inclusivity, and body positivity which has shown to be advantageous for companies. According to the Forbes article, Kim Kardashian, SKIMS And The NBA: A Game-Changing Partnership, "the SKIMS NBA partnership embodies a rock-solid alignment of core values and objectives - the cornerstone of any genuine celebrity-led collaboration". This partnership will likely prove to be an excellent collaboration for both brands and has already shown to have potential for success and longevity.
