The higher the ratio of Solar : DC capacity (the more solar you have, relative to the size of the Edge instance) - the greater your competitive price advantage..... This is pretty much the only thing any data centre operator now needs to worry about. How much solar can you access behind the meter? How much storage can you land? Can you trade out the delta?

4500 square meter roof, 3MW of power - that’s a hell of an “edge” data center. Most “non-edge” data centers don’t have that much capacity or footprint It says they do heat reuse too, but that sounds like a lot of heat. When the ratio is off, it becomes virtue signaling and greenwashing. It’s disproportional - “look how sustainable we’re being”
