Sign installation in Plant City, FL 10/21/2023. After making it through the economic crisis of 2007-2008 and its aftermath, the uncertainty that comes with entering the arena of small business ownership 2 years later, injuries sustained from being rear-ended, and taking care of our family's circumstances, there are NO reasons for us to doubt what we can do. That job is for the skeptics. Been doing it. Still doing it. Will keep doing it. 19 years and still going.

As a key leader on Tilson's Outside Plant team, Senior Construction Manager Marcos Jaramillo is using his firsthand experience building fiber networks to foster an environment that focuses on safety, teamwork, open communication, and mutual respect. Having spent years working as a laborer, utility locator, supervisor, and business development manager, Marcos understands both the technical aspects and soft skills needed to be part of a successful team. It’s leaders like Marcos, grounded in safety and collaboration, who have driven Tilson’s nationwide expansion of our fiber operations. Yet, Marcos emphasizes that the credit isn’t just his: “At the end of the day, it’s you and your team pulling together that gets you through." See how: https://hubs.ly/Q02nGNvX0 The Byford team updated their weekly routine to increase collaboration and remove the Friday afternoon rush. Now, area teams of engineers and supervisors update and review their plans each Wednesday, with Aphex helping to identify cross-team interfaces and remove them before the final presentation on a Thursday. "Our new approach drives the engineers and supervisors to be completely across their plans and how they fit into the wider project before our final review meeting," said David, "this has driven real buy-in and accountability to our plans." This enables them to use the lookahead to drive weekly reporting, too. Read the full case study: https://hubs.ly/Q02nGNvX0 #byford #laing

When you drive down the road and see one of the huge tower cranes working hard to pull a building out of the ground from seemingly nothing, do you think about it? What does that crane represent? It is a symbol of progress, a belief in the future. You don't just build something because you like playing with concrete and steel. You have been planning and working for years to find the right spot to put the right structure. You anticipate demand for what you believe to be a successful endeavor. The crane count has been a way to measure the building momentum of a city – from Tampa to Austin to Seattle. Taken over time, the number of cranes erected show a forward-leaning investment in the future of a city. If it is rising, people believe that over a period of years in the future the growth will fill the buildings with new families and businesses. How does this relate to you? The crane's movements, lifting and placing one beam at a time, reflect the incremental steps we take in our personal and professional lives. Each beam represents a milestone, a challenge you've overcome, or a lesson learned. Just as cities expand and modernize, so do our interests and goals, and the crane serves as a reminder that growth is a deliberate and ever changing process, requiring patience, resilience, and a vision for the future.

Plan the work and work the plan! Here at Haydon Bridge, we aspire to see a plan have a successful execution. When planning the work, the HBC team identifies key planning elements such as communication channels, scope, activities, deliverables, milestones, resources, timeline, and budgetary requirements. Work well planned is only half success. Utilizing new technologies and real time communication platforms the office and field leadership are able to communicate fluidly and address any possible hold points before execution commences. In this video you will see the successful and safe completion of the culvert construction for Phase 1 in Marion Co. We met our milestone and are on track for a successful traffic shift to begin Phase 2 construction. Props to all those involved in planning the work and working the plan to make this successful. "Marshall, why do you post on LinkedIn so often?" Before I joined STARC Systems Inc., I will admit that I had never given a second thought to containment I had seen in airports or hospitals. Since I've joined and started talking about the product on LinkedIn, I've gotten a dozen messages like this from contacts. If you are not a walking billboard for your company, how will anyone know what you do? SAT > BNA > MKE today... meeting Michelle Klemack to talk to some of our midwest customers and prospects about reusable containment. We're saving the planet one renovation at a time - no more drywall waste! There's never been a better time to sell walls. #sales
