Electric Mobility Week! This week has been an incredible journey into the future of electric mobility! I started with the Concawe "Safety Theme Day," in Brussels, where we discussed the safety of Electric Vehicles and Battery Energy Storage Systems. Today, I'm at the Electric Summit at Católica Porto Business School, participating in inspiring conferences about electric mobility. It's amazing to see how Siemens charging technology is advancing and how we can contribute to a more sustainable and efficient future. To reach this conference, I had the pleasure of charging my EV at a Galp ultra-fast charging station on the A1 in Pombal. The experience was seamless and very similar to refueling my previous combustion car. Additionally, this week the geopolitical discussions on electric mobility industry have been prominent, with the Power2Drive fair, the world's leading e-mobility event also taking place. Electric mobility is undoubtedly a hot topic, and this week has been a prime example of that. #ElectricMobility #Emobility #Galp #Siemens

"There is no way back. The electrification of transport is unstoppable".⚡ This is one of the highlights from our CEO Adolfo Rebollo during the 'Electrification of transport' round table that took place last week at #WindEurope. The round table, moderated by Ainhoa Garmendia from Iberdrola, was also integrated by industry experts such as Pablo P., CEO of Iberdrola | bp pulse, Jose Lopez-Tafall, CEO of ANFAC, and Iñigo Etxeberria Agirre, CEO of Irizar e-mobility. All of them agreed on the need to accelerate the effort from the public administrations towards electrification. #ElectrifyingASustainableFuture #electricvehicles

Senior Data / MLOps Engineer @ E.ON; technology enthusiast and innovator, aiming for purpose by delivering value to our society and planet by solving real-world problems.
E.ON E-mobility Atlas – Mapping impact to transform EU’s agreement to ban the sale of non-electric vehicles from 2035 is an ambitious effort for a #sustainable future. To successfully switch to #emobility, not only do we need a rapid infrastructure expansion and high consumer acceptance levels, but also an accurate assessment of the status quo so that the challenges of the transition are properly addressed and the right strategic decisions are made. E.ON E-Mobility Atlas (https://lnkd.in/dvwNG5iT) is designed to visualise the progress and provide insights into the state of e-mobility in Germany. Collecting on state federal state and county / city level, it shows the number of registered EVs, available charging stations with their total charging capacity as well as the estimated environmental impact from green transportation. According to the latest data analysis, with more than 1.4 million purely electric cars on the roads, the use of electric vehicles in Germany has continued to develop compared to previous years, potentially allowing to save up to 3.4 million tons of CO₂ per year (with some homework on our side - #energytransition #itsonus). In terms of the charging infrastructure, more than 114,000 charging points with a total capacity of more than 3.6 gigawatts (30% increase year-on-year) are currently available to support EV drivers. In addition, the German federal states and 93% of the districts and independent cities have achieved a charging capacity of 1.3 kilowatts per registered electric car, reaching a target value set by EU regulations. Leveraging the power of #dataanalytics facilitates transparency of the transition, allowing decision-makers to devise impactful strategies in order to support further development of the e-mobility ecosystem and reach the ambitious green transportation targets. Last weekend, our Head of Corporate Communications, Public Affairs, and Sustainability, Stian Mathisen, joined Minister of Transport Jon-Ivar Nygård at eCarExpo Norge to explain how Recharge is working to turn charging stations into a valuable resource that strengthens the power grid. ⚡ One crucial message emerged – rapid charging stations are a societal lifeline that demands prioritization. "We believe that fast-charging infrastructure must be recognized as critical to society and, therefore, prioritized in terms of land allocation and power grid connections," stated Kristin Bremer Nebben, CEO of Drivkraft Norge, who hosted the seminar. Recharge’s engagement underscores the cohesive connection between industry leaders and government bodies. Together, we advocate for the crucial recognition of fast-charging infrastructure, paving the way for a sustainable future. ♻️ 🌍 Recharge is dedicated to transforming EV charging into a strategic asset for a resilient energy grid. Join us and contribute to the conversation on the future of electric vehicle charging. ⚡ #ElectricVehicles #eMobility #EVcharging #Sustainability #LifeAtRecharge
