This a must-see event on #breastcancer and #breastdensity -- learn the facts, ask your Members of Congress & USPSTF to take action to expand insurance coverage for supplemental screening (which is essential screening beyond a mammogram), ask your doctor if you are getting supplemental screening if you are among the 50% of all #women with dense breasts, and tell your friends to learn their breast tissue type and advocate for the care they need. 71% of all breast cancer #patients have dense breasts and if you have dense breasts, mammograms only work 50% of the time in detecting cancer. Yet technology exists to fill this gap, but women are not able to access if coverage is denied. Early detection saves lives!
