Just weeks before her 35th birthday, Jeanne Green discovered a suspicious mass under one breast, leading to a diagnosis of hormone-positive breast cancer. After consulting with her doctors at Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center and Woman's Hospital, the mother of twin toddlers chose to undergo a double mastectomy. As a longtime culinary arts professional, she turned to nutrition to support her recovery. Jeanne used bone broth and fermented veggies, alongside a healthy, active lifestyle, to aid her healing during chemotherapy and radiation treatment. Now cancer-free, she helps others live healthy lifestyles through her own meal prep business.
