This position will work with Heads of MGUs on wording and language in policies.

Compensation: $160K - $185K
Location: Strong preference for a candidate in Dallas, TX but will consider a fully remote candidate elsewhere in the U.S. if very well qualified.
What you'll do:
✅ Provide regulatory and coverage advisory guidance to business units.
✅ Main products presently include: Commercial Auto, Construction GL, DOL and Garage, and Habitational Property
✅ Create a product overview for each product to serve as the guidance document.
✅ Identify data that should be gathered into a database for measuring product performance.
✅ Assure that rating systems properly follow admitted rating rules.
✅ Create/modify forms to respond to loss trends, legal trends, comply with regulatory requirements, respond to customer’s coverage needs, and at the request of the business units.
✅ Develop new coverages based on requirements from business unit leaders.
✅ Assure all forms are reviewed by legal and provide all feedback to the business units.
✅ Communicate coverage issues to claims and the business units.
✅ Evaluate competitor policy forms and communicate important differences to the business units.
✅ Coordinate, direct, and monitor filing vendor’s filing process with various state departments of insurance using System for Electronic Rates & Forms Filing.
✅ Develop and maintain recordkeeping of all forms, editions, state approval status, legal guidance, and usage by Business Unit.
✅ Assure that all forms are approved by Amherst before being provided to the business units.
