As we recognize International Day of the Girl Child, we join in celebrating the power of girls’ voices and their vision for a brighter future. This year’s theme, ‘Girls’ Vision for the Future’, reminds us of the urgent need to address the barriers girls continue to face. Education is a critical key to unlocking girls’ potential, yet too many girls are still denied this basic right. This impacts not only their lives but also the strength of their families, communities, and economies. At the Conferences for Women, we stand with advocates like Malala, who work passionately for equal access to education.
