I have multiple major projects I want to complete over the next few months. I imagine I'm not alone here in a long list of 'want to get done'. They're not single client specific but they fall into these buckets: - better pulse on total account health - deeper value for clients - deeper relationships - company value Hardest part? Prioritizing. They all feel like 10/10 ideas so you want to GO GO GO. Stepping back to focus and outlining next step(s) is key. Also, simple ranking of High to Low priority level 👌 Truth is even good ideas are not all created equal. The lens has to be: what has the most real client impact? Focus is the theme of summer 2024.

When I was in Junior Achievement's Company Program as a teenager we would often pack up all our products and pop up at a local business for the day to see if we could pitch and sell what we had created. It was terrifying! And also, I learned that most businesses want to help other businesses succeed. You just have to ask. Well, I'm almost 40, and have lost my "cute" and "kids are our future" essence but... when we were brainstorming on what weekday opportunities we could create to meet new customers, I remembered my younger days and wondered: Would businesses be just as open to supporting adult-run product-based businesses through pop-up opportunities? Thoughts? Experiences? Are you a business who offers these opportunities? Would you be open to it? If this isn't something you'd be open to, why not? And, as younger Jenna learned; The Ask: "Would you be open to our company popping up at your workplace to do a demo with our wellness coffee and to sell products to your team?" (With the zest and humbleness of a high school student of course ;))

Tim Martinez knocks it out of the part with this month's challenge. If you need a supportive, or accountability group, reach out and join. We officially kicked off our May Challenge of "Building Your A-Team". Here’s how to participate in this month's challenge. Make a comprehensive list of everyone that you need on your bus. List who you have on your team now and where the gaps are. Create a hierarchy list of who is the highest priority to get on the bus. Define the roles and responsibilities for each person Start having conversations with prospective team players Remember your "A-Team" can also be composed of peer advisory groups such as EntrePowerment, mentors/advisors, coaches, consultants, strategic partners, interns, virtual assistants… Make this the month that you gain clarity on WHO you need to build your empire! “If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go together” 58:57

Asking for help can be really challenging, especially when you bootstrap yourself as a young career woman. In launching my startup and seeking fractional Ops work, I am in the position of needing help- from colleagues vouching for me, to colleagues and mentors giving advice, to employment and engagement offers. I love being in the position of connector, mentor, and supervisor giving others opportunity. Who doesn't??? But this flux and new challenge keeps me light on my feet, grateful, and incredibly adaptive. What events in life have helped you cultivate a growth mindset? How has asking for help changed you? #pivot #careerdevelopment #womeninbusiness

Summer Prep (For Autumn Action) Summer is not just the best time to relax. It is also the perfect moment to think about fresh ideas and new innovative strategies! So, in this video, I'll propose three things you can think about during the sunny months (in the Northern Hemisphere, at least...) and implement when everyone is back at work in the autumn: 1) Boost learning and growth 2) Promote open chat and teamwork 3) Set up clear decision-making steps Focusing on these areas over the summer will prepare you to bring your team back ready to innovate, decide, and solve problems like pros this autumn! #innovation
