International air bookings are already up more than 115% compared to the period between July 26th and August 11th 2023. The Paris 2024 Olympic Games will be a major challenge for everyone in the aeronautical sector. In particular for Paris Aéroport - Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and Aéroport de Paris-Orly, the 2 main gateways to the capital. Between: • Managing the influx of travelers, • The reception of 64,000 international delegations, • 10,000 athletes, • Their oversized baggage, • Journalists... The experience will be a stepping stone in the continuous progress of services toward increased fluidity in air travel. Is the French airport system ready to rise to the challenge? #MBAviation #Paris2024 #Aeronautics #Airport

🚀✈🚁 Air France-KLM anticipates potential losses from the Olympics 🚀✈🚁 ▪️Despite being an official partner of the Paris 2024 - Comité d'organisation des Jeux Olympiques et Paralympiques de 2024, Air France-KLM is bracing for potential financial turbulence. The airline group estimates losses ranging from €160 million to €180 million due to logistical challenges surrounding the sporting event! ▪️The losses are likely connected to disruptions caused by the Olympics. This could involve increased air traffic control restrictions, airspace limitations, or security measures impacting flight schedules and potentially leading to cancellations or delays. The European group is also forecasting a reduction in travel volumes from Paris to other destinations ▪️This news comes amidst a contrasting picture for Air France-KLM. The airline group reported a first-quarter net loss in 2024, despite a rise in revenue and passenger numbers.

The Concorde was a groundbreaking supersonic commercial jet that revolutionized air travel. It was jointly developed by British and French manufacturers, with its first transatlantic crossing in 1973 and the commencement of scheduled supersonic passenger service in 1976. The Concorde had a maximum cruising speed of 1,354 mph (Mach 2.04), allowing it to significantly reduce flight times, such as completing the New York to London route in just two hours, 52 minutes, and 59 seconds. Despite its technological advancements and speed, the Concorde faced challenges such as noise, operating expenses, and limited profitability, leading to its retirement in 2003. The aircraft's legacy as a symbol of European cooperation and aerospace innovation remains significant, with some Concorde aircraft preserved in museums worldwide, including the Intrepid Museum in New York. Athletic recovery for Air France? 🏋️🥇 While France's national airline didn't quite qualify for gold medal status with its latest quarterly report, it hopes to improve its financial results with the upcoming 2024 Olympic Games. 📉 Its parent group, Air France-KLM, has had a stock value dip of about 23% since the beginning of the year: can this summer halt its losses? ✈️ July/August flight bookings to Paris alone are up 125% compared to last summer, reflecting the high interest of travellers in this year's Olympic events 🧳 Air France is increasing capacity and adding new flights to accommodate over 11 million visitors estimated to attend the Olympics, as well as travellers flying in for the Paraolympics and Cannes Film Festival 💰This could be a possibility for the airline to strategize its loss recovery, revenue, and stock value. We attended ICAO Trip Symposium organized by Civil Aviation and Aviation Administration Committees of Kazakhstan and International Civil Aviation Organization. During the Symposium new technologies have been introduced and experince by different entities have been shared. We had a speech about our plans to provide seamless journey at the new passenger terminal by using technology such as self check-in kiosks, bag dropp-off machines, e-passport. According to the latest ACI World - Airports Council International survey, 74% of the passengers with handbag want to reach their boarding gates from the entrance of the terminal in 30 minutes and 75% of the passengers are ready to share their biometric data in order to move in the terminal faster. We have the technology to implement these developments but decisons should be taken by governments to implement and higher level of cooperation among the government is needed. Digitisation is important to enchance passenger experince. TAV Airports Holding have IT company named TAV Technologies which develops systems for airports. Thanks to their extensive experince and knowledge which enables us to implement ne2 technologies at Almaty International Airport.
In Almaty, the Regional Symposium on the ICAO TRIP Passenger Identification Program took place, featuring Alp Er Tunga Ersoy , the president of Almaty International Airport as a speaker. #TRIP #ICAO Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan Nailya Zhabagina TAV Airports

#DidYouKnowFriday Did you know that French was once the official language of England for almost 300 years, from 1066 to 1362? Yes, it's true! After William the Conqueror took over in 1066, French became the language of the ruling class, while regular folks spoke English. But here's another cool thing: France also led the way in aviation! Back in 1909, a Frenchman named Louis Blériot made France's first-ever powered flight. And guess what? They coined some fancy aviation words like "fuselage" and "aileron" that we still use today in English! Fast forward to 1362, and English regained its status as the main language. This happened after some big historical events, like England losing Normandy and getting into a 100-year-long war with France. In today's aviation world, AeroControl offer complete aviation solutions and services, we are dedicated to enhancing your aviation journey. Do you know of the LONGEST FLIGHT EVER? The longest flight route ever is the New York (JFK) to Singapore Changi (SIN) route operated by Singapore Airlines. This route is the longest commercial flight by great-circle distance, covering a distance of 15,332 kilometers. It takes an average of 18 hours and 40 minutes to complete and has been at the top of the list of longest flights since 2021. This route is operated by the Airbus A350-900 aircraft, which has a range of up to 15,700 kilometers and can carry up to 500 passengers. In the past, the world's longest flight was the Auckland (AKL) to Doha (DOH) route operated by Qatar Airways, which covered a distance of 14,526 kilometers. However, this route was dropped during the Covid-19 pandemic and is now in third place on the list of longest flights. It is important to note that the actual distance flown can be longer than the great-circle. distance due to various factors such as avoiding severe weather, taking advantage of favorable winds aloft, detouring around closed airspace, and diverting around conflict zones. And if you don't know, The great circle is the circle that divides a sphere into two equal hemispheres and has the same center as the sphere. It is the shortest distance between two points on the surface of a sphere, measured along the surface of the sphere also know as the orthodromic distance. #aviation #aviationlovers #boeing #airpeace #airbus

Singapore Airshow Where Aviation's Finest Meet 20 - 25 FEB 2024, Changi Exhibition Centre, Singapore. We Take Scheduling and Arranging Meetings at Trade Shows to a New Level. The Paris Air Show is an example: Anyone can get the exhibitor list and the contact information for key executives in exhibiting companies. We take that to a new level by researching the exhibitor list of other air shows, such as NBAA, MRO Europe, MRO Americas, Singapore, Dubai, and Farnborough, and comparing it with the Paris Air Show exhibitor list. If they're not exhibiting, they may be attending. We also have a list of sub-suppliers to Air Bus, Boeing, etc. The odds that they'll attend are pretty good; we also contact them. 🚀✈🚁 Delta Air Lines Echoes Air France Olympics to Hit Bottom Line ✈🚁 ▪️Delta Air Lines Airlines has added its voice to the growing chorus of concerns about the economic impact of the Paris Olympics. Echoing similar sentiments expressed by Air France weeks ago, Delta Air Lines has announced that it expects to incur significant financial losses due to the global sporting event. ▪️The airline attributes its projected losses to increased operational costs, heightened competition for resources, and potential disruptions to flight schedules. However, a deeper issue may be at play. The surge in prices across France, a consequence of various economic factors, seems to have deterred many tourists from visiting Paris this summer. ▪️While the event is anticipated to bring economic benefits to Paris, the broader impact on the tourism sector and airlines remains a cause for concern.
