Last week, we celebrated the life and legacy of Ilon Specht, the radical creative genius behind L’Oréal Paris’ iconic tagline, "Because I'm Worth It." This groundbreaking idea, crafted in 1973 when Ilon was a young copywriter at McCann New York, not only revolutionized advertising in the beauty category but also became a powerful feminist statement. We paid tribute to Ilon by sharing a moving documentary by two-time Academy Award® winner Ben Proudfoot, “The Final Copy of Ilon Specht” and heard more of Ilon’s story from those who knew her best, including her children, Alison Case and Brady Case, as well as her family, friends and former colleagues. Thank you to The Paley Center for Media and She Runs It for participating in this very special event, and to Ilon’s family and everyone who joined us, took part in the discussion, and helped make this such a memorable night.

Thank you for the wonderful screening and event, McCann Worldgroup She Runs It The Paley Center for Media. We are so glad to be able to share Ilon's story together.

Opinion: If you know how I can legally get NYC law enforcement to stop harassing me, please let me know. People I know are paying New York City law enforcement and their civilian team to harass me.
