The scenario goes: in 2040 almost 45 percent of a total of 128 million passenger cars sold worldwide will be powered purely by battery electricity or fuel cells. (Study by German industry association VDMA and FEV Consulting) Efficient fuel cells, batteries, electric motors, and high-performance electronics as well as cooling technologies are the future growth drivers for the industry. This requires new manufacturing processes - and new tools. Scansonic is well prepared for this future. 4JET Insights 💡 As a laser machine manufacturer we always have to be at the forefront of development. That is especially true for the E-Mobility sector and ongoing R&D. A big chunk our development comes from customer requests. They have a problem that needs solving, so they come to us for a solution. We then start testing different parameters on prototypes or early pre-production samples we receive from our clients, to assess the feasability and ultimately find a solution to satisfy their requests.
