My colleague Dr. Cécile Emery and I are conducting on the role of Executive & Personal Assistants (EPAs) in the workplace. Our aim is to gain deeper insights into the activities that EPAs engage in in their roles, including those activities that may often go unnoticed or unacknowledged. Personal assistants play a crucial role in supporting professionals and executives across various industries, yet the complexity of their responsibilities and contributions is not always fully understood or appreciated. With this study, we seek to shed light on the role of a PA’s social network and their impact on their work team. We are looking for personal assistants that work with a leader and at least two team members. Participation in the study involves completing two online surveys with a time gap of one to two months. In addition, we require information from two team members that can provide a different perspective on work-related constructs. All data collected will be held confidential and used solely for research purposes.
