1st party data will increasingly become the key for ecommerce brands. The ability to 'control' the conversation and thus, any marketing, will increasingly rest on permission based access to buyers. We've already seen a significant shift since the iOS 14 drama days. And now there's increased clampdowns on 3rd party data. Three main things to focus on: 1. Community, creating a shared emotion and real connection. 2. Better back-end marketing (those bi-weekly emails with no value aren't enough). 3.
