🗞️ Max Power Mining Corp (CSE: MAXX) | (OTC: MAXXF) continues to drill into thick lithium claystone sequences and fluid sequences 3 miles south of a recently completed widely-spaced triangle formation of drill holes at its Willcox Lithium Project in southeast Arizona. ⚒️ Diamond drill hole WP-23-04, collared 3 miles southwest of WP-23-03, has encountered a predominant lithium claystone sequence and six fluid sequences from the top of the hole to the base of the hole where it ended at 1,200 feet in a fluid sequence. 🗣️ Mr. Peter Lauder, Senior Geologist and Exploration Manager for MAX Power, commented: “This big step-out to the south and the first four drill holes in general underscore the potential scale of the Willcox lithium system which is being diamond drilled for the first time. Big news out of Arizona this morning with Max Power Mining Corp #MAXX #MAXXF confirming the discovery of near-surface lithium-rich clays over a large area of their Willcox Playa property. Notably, they've also successfully separated the lithium from the clay through their collaboration with UC Berkley. Alto Metals Ltd (ASX:AME) is making preparations to kick off the next phase of regional exploration following its discovery of multiple targets at the Sandstone #Gold Project. The company will focus on near-term growth and new discoveries during the ‘high impact’ campaign, with drilling at the Bull Oak, Vanguard and Indomitable prospects. Bull Oak stands out as a single-pit resource with scale potential for additional open-pittable gold. Results from a recent 80-metre step-out drill program intersected multiple stacked lodes including 55 metres at 1.5 g/t gold and 23 metres at 1.1 g/t, with extended mineralisation over 400 metres that remained open. Coverage stock Rimfire Pacific Mining Limited (ASX: RIM) (initiated @ 2.3c in 2016) has provided an important update with respect to exploration activity at the Bald Hill Prospect, located within its Broken Hill Project in NSW. RIM is currently undertaking a 6-hole/1,000-metre diamond drill program at Bald Hill, designed to test the significance of a very strong magnetic anomaly, which is interpreted to be a potential extension to previously drilled high-grade cobalt (Co) and copper (Cu) mineralisation. The Bald Hill magnetic anomaly trends NNE, dips to the southeast, and has a near-surface extent of 450 x 400 metres, extending to a vertical depth of approximately 300 metres below surface. 3D modelling suggests that the anomaly plunges to the southeast, with RIM’s 2023 diamond holes just “clipping” the top of the anomaly. Encouragingly, the first two holes in the program have successfully intersected multiple broad zones (downhole widths) of sulphide mineralisation, 100 – 200m away from previous high-grade cobalt drill intercepts (assays awaited).
