2024 could be one of the best years in sports for India Starting with the Indian football team who head into their only 5th appearance at the #AsianCup & the first time they will participate in back to back editions. Moving on to cricket; the usual 2 months of IPL carnival which will this time meander around the 2024 elections and immediately #TeamIndia will head to North America for the #T20WorldCup. While this takes place, we will have our regular dose of Grand Slams during this period- #Wimbledon & #RolandGarros Although for #indiansports fans, stakes are less nonetheless interest will be much higher for #Euro2024 (Germany) & #TourdeFrance which will for obvious reasons not end in Paris this year. Add to this we will still have our annual leagues, bilaterals, world championships, motorsports, etc & Finally #Paris2024; after a super showing at Tokyo2020 , our huge contingent will strive for a mega performance at the Olympics & Paralympics. All in all it's going to be a year to enjoy for every sports fan #HappyNewYear 😀 #esportesavvy

The dynamic duo of Indian javelin, Sumit Antil and Neeraj Chopra, continue to make the nation proud with their outstanding performances on the global stage. Antil, the reigning Paralympic champion, secured his second consecutive gold medal at the Paris Games, further cementing his dominance in the sport. Meanwhile, Neeraj Chopra, with his historic Olympic gold in Tokyo and a silver in Paris, has brought a new era to Indian athletics. Antil praised Chopra’s resilience, stating, "It was his season's best, and it came after he was carrying an injury. That says a lot about the man." Both athletes once competed against each other in the Indian Grand Prix series, where Antil showcased his talent by finishing 7th among 10 able-bodied competitors, while Neeraj clinched victory. Antil now harbours the ambitious dream of becoming the first Indian athlete to compete in both the Paralympics and the Olympics. Inspiring a generation, these javelin stars have shown us what's possible with dedication and perseverance. 🥇💪🏻 #Paris2024 #Paralympics #GoldMedal #JavelinThrow #WorldRecord #SumitAntil #NeerajChopra [Sumit Antil, Paris Paralympics 2024, Javelin throw, Neeraj Chopra, Team India]

Partner and Consultant at Energos - Developing the potentials of individuals and the potentials of organizations is my passion and life mission - like a catalyst of potential = “POTENTIALOG”.
Are you in the zone? In FLOW? I was introduced with the concept of FLOW more than 30 years ago (when I was training tennis) and it has helped me a lot. As a leadership coach I have been effectively using the concept at my coachings in order to create and enter these special states of total focus and engagement. Flow is a mental state in which a person is fully immersed and focused on an activity, experiencing a sense of energized involvement and enjoyment. In business life, harnessing flow can enhance productivity and creativity, leading to improved performance and job satisfaction. Let’s hear and read about it in this great post from my dear colleague Jaka Oman, the catalyst/ translator of FLOW💪👍🙏.

[FLOW @ OLYIMPIC GAMES 24] One of the biggest battles until now on the olympics in Paris 2024 was on the MTB Cross-Country race between Tom Pidcock and Victor Koretzky. When we look at this race from the flow perspective, we can see both riders focused and determined to win, but in this kind of races there is only one winner. I would say that Tom finished the race in flow. With the last daring overtaking (in the clip attached), he lifted the challenge bar above the comfort zone, slightly more then it was safe. The challenge stretched him to the maximum, but he did not snap. We enter flow when our response to the challenge at hand delivers better then expected results and in case of Tom this meant an olympic gold medal. For Victor the momentarily lose of focus lead to a possibly (after my observations) out-of-flow traumatic event that still means olympic silver. It is this kind of high-skill & high-challenge situations that make sport so attractive to watch. Enjoy the sport. #flow #olympicgames #paris2024 https://lnkd.in/d53ihTQQ

India now has 22 medals and counting at the Paris Paralympics 2024. Tokyo's 19 medals record has been broken. India's medal count in previous Paralympics:- Athens 2004- 2 medals Beijing 2008- 0 medal London 2012- 1 medal Rio 2016- 4 medals Tokyo 2020- 19 medals Paris 2024- 22 medals and counting. The improvements made by Indian Para-athletes can be seen very clearly. A huge respect to all the Indian Para-Athletes. 🇮🇳❤️ But what about the Olympics? Our medal count at Paris went down from being 7 at Tokyo to 6 medals, with none of the athletes being able to defend their podium. #connection What's your view on this? What is India lacking at the Olympics, Why Indian athletes can't even qualify for most of the track and field athletics event, while on the other hand Para-Athletes 👑 are putting up a show at track and field.
