Since 2004, Gilbert van Wingerden, founder of The Workation Agency, has been regularly visiting Málaga, a place that has always inspired him to work from Spain. Nowadays, Gilbert lives in Spain and has the opportunity to work from here every day. He knows the benefits of this and wants to inspire companies to do this regularly as well. At the time, Gilbert worked for his internet company and served Dutch clients from Spain. They were already working remotely, using a Skype phone to connect with the Netherlands. Later, developers from the Netherlands also came to Málaga and Marbella to work there for a few days. This is when the seed was planted for the creation of The Workation Agency. Our mission is to inspire people and companies to look beyond the traditional office walls where they work daily. Most of the RELEXians in Portugal are part of the global Tech Organization, integrated into different departments and teams. And so, the most enjoyable events are the ones we can be together and celebrate - Summer & Winter parties, Team Volunteering activities, Office Game nights, and random spontaneous get-togethers. “ 💙 “It has been two years full of good things and happy memories! Summer Party 2022 in Finland is one of them. It was undoubtedly a memorable moment, especially as a newbie.
