One of the highlights of the past few months is the opportunity to be part as a co author of an engineering paper focusing on the Challenges of a real and complex hybrid project. The paper was recognized in the 22nd Wind and Solar Integration Workshop in Denmark which served as a great avenue to learn and be updated on what countries outside the Philippines are doing to advance the development of Renewable Hybrid Powerplants. #renewableenergy #energytransition #asssetmanagement

Smart Wires Inc.’s SmartValve™ power flow control devices were selected as the preferred upgrade as part of Australian TSO Transgrid’s Victoria-NSW Interconnector (VNI) project. So far, this upgrade has unlocked 170 MW of additional renewable energy – enough to power 30,000 Australian homes. Transgrid’s former Head of Infrastructure Development said: “[using SmartValve™]...meant no new lines needed to be built, so the extra energy we needed could be unlocked with minimal environmental and community impacts associated with building or upgrading existing lines.” Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/gjg8by2y
