Remote work isn’t the future It’s the present. If your company still insists on five days a week in the office, they’re stuck in 2019. (Just see how Spotify approach things ) Here’s the reality: • Remote work boosts productivity. (Yes, there’s data to prove it.) • It widens the talent pool. You’re not hiring the best person nearby, you’re hiring the best person period. • And employees? They’re happier when they don’t have to commute, wear stiff suits, or endure pointless meetings. So why are so many businesses still clinging to the old ways? Fear. Plain and simple. But here’s the kicker: The companies that resist remote work today? They’ll lose their top talent to companies that embrace it tomorrow. Agree? Disagree? Let’s hear it.

📌 Now the question is, did this get a lot of likes because theres genuinely of support for this, or did you like it because of how ugly and bright the yellow is?

Generally speakingoat people would agree that working from home is the "next best thing since canned soup". Does this make it effective ams useful for business needs? We want what we want is more what it sounds like. Companies want what they want, and objectively everyone signed an agreement with their company to follow their guidelines and policies and procedures. So what is everyone fussing about? The commute? The can't wear whatever you want? Can't go to the fridge? Can't play video games or watch their favorite whatever? Are people really, I mean, really more.productive isolated from their team? All I hear are people complaining about "their perfect setup" being able to work from wherever or do whatever behind the companies back. Should their be a balance? Depend on the industry and company. WFH is not the NOW or the future or the next best thing. It was create ld out of necessity because there was a "global pandemic". It wasn't made because companies suddenly decided they could trust human nature unsupervised at their home to actually complete everything on time. I'm mote.producrive at home, so says everyone wirh no evidence they are. In the end you get paid to work for a company that creates the rules for you.

statistically that cannot be supported the number of people who would quit rather than return the office would reduce thee people working at home to approximately the same levels it was before the pan epidemic

Can’t hit “x” on jobs that say on-site fast enough!

Totally disagree. It’s destroys teamwork. Brainstorming, mentoring, social bonding , and many other essential parts of working life and business.

I couldn’t agree more! As a contractor living in Glasgow roles were very limited and any roles out with required travel, staying away from family/friends for extended periods and the additional costs involved I.e. accomodation, fuel, eating out…to name a few. I’ve now been WFH siince Covid and I’ve not been back in an office since. I now have access to roles all over the UK from the comfort of my own home with no additional costs which is even more important since IR35 was introduced. Those hours previously spent commuting are now used to work and more importantly I get to spend more time with my family & friends. WFH is a big yes from me!
