Mission moment ✨
Transforming the lives of women and children, with special attention to those in crisis remains our mission.
This personal testimony helps to confirm the impact made by the generosity of our community. When women are forced to S-T-R-E-T-C-H their small budgets and limited resources, many have no other choice but to make costly sacrifices, even for the most basic of needs.
This does not need to be the norm for countless women across the country.
Will you invest in women in crisis today? In just a few clicks, you can donate today and help make a difference in the life of a mother facing unimaginable challenges. https://lnkd.in/emt88pyP#nonprofitorganiztion#supportwithinreach#upliftfoundation#womensupportingwomen

Have you ever considered the pivotal role trust plays in the philanthropic pursuits of women? ✅
How women approach their giving, from choosing where to donate to deciding when and how much, is often influenced by the advice they receive from trusted sources.
Whether it's guidance from family, friends, or experts, these insights heavily shape women's giving decisions.
This highlights the importance of seeking proper guidance. While loved ones and colleagues may offer valuable input, not everyone possesses the expertise and experience needed to provide sound advice.
Without reliable guidance, there's a risk that our efforts may not reach the right recipients, potentially squandering opportunities to support charities or causes in urgent need of financial assistance.
Before making a decision, it's crucial to conduct thorough research and seek advice from experts who have your best interests at heart.
If you believe our team could provide the guidance you need and you're ready to make a meaningful impact, schedule a call with us. 📞
Let's explore how we can work together to amplify your philanthropic efforts.

What’s one of the greatest barriers Tribes have to receiving philanthropic dollars? Match funds 💰
As part of our Philanthropy 101 series, we defined match funds as a grant that will only be awarded if the applicant agrees to pay—or “match”—a certain percentage of the grant itself. In other words: You need money to receive money.
Tribal communities don’t always have the means to pay the match. As a result, the very populations philanthropy seeks to help are denied the game-changing support needed to implement life-changing projects, such as creating sustainable infrastructure and addressing environmental injustices.
Fortunately, there is a straightforward solution: Make match funds available to the communities that can’t afford them.
Read The Chronicle of Philanthropy’s article, “A Hidden Burden on Low-Income Communities That Philanthropy Can Help Fix” to learn more about match funding barriers, as well as ways that Native Americans in Philanthropy is working to resolve this systemic inequity ➡️ https://lnkd.in/eSsMvnDM#Philanthropy#NativePhilanthropy#Nonprofit#NativeNonprofit#MatchFunds#Funding#NativeAmerican#Native#Indigenous#WeAreIndigenous#NativeLed#Grants#MatchFunding#Equity

Who are the forgotten women? Why care about somebody I don't know? It doesn't impact me, so I don't need to bother myself with it.....
Let's break the stigma and their silence, stand up, and educate ourselves and those around us. Support those without a voice and those who are too scared, embarrassed, or worried about judgment!
'The Forgotten Women', over 40,000 Queensland women over the age of 55 are homeless. Sadly this figure is due to increase twofold by 2036!
With over 700 based in greater Brisbane. That is 700 women who are someone’s aunt, mother, or grandmother, struggling to keep their heads above water, often doing so in silence.
I am calling all my LinkedIn friends, family and colleagues,
Stand with me and support my team, we are taking on the Live Like Her Challenge 2024 to help more homeless women over 55 into homes. For one night, we will sleep in a car to raise awareness and funds for The Forgotten Women project, an initiative that is close to our hearts.
This initiative hits close to home for me. I have seen close friends struggle to find suitable accommodation for their families, especially elderly mothers and grandmothers who have even had to couch surf with only the clothes on their backs and without the medication some need due to having to decide which bill to pay, the house, power or food?? We can never judge one's circumstances, but we can certainly change our thought process and help rather than hinder.
For some, homelessness is due to financial strain, domestic violence and, in some situations, families who don't want anything to do with them.
In a situation most of us could never imagine, these women often hold their heads high and suffer in silence, but they deserve a warm, safe home. Let's help raise awareness for such a worthy cause.

Less than 2% of charitable giving in the United States goes to women and girls—and only a fraction of that goes to supporting girls and young women of color. This #InternationalWomensDay, we're calling on philanthropy to #InvestInWomen by creating spaces where adolescent girls and young women of color can learn, play, dream, and become powerful movement leaders.
Tides Foundation's Advancing Girls Fund powers grantmaking for girls and young women of color and their allies. Since 2021, we’ve granted more than $61.9M to 150+ girl-centered organizations in 20 countries, 90% of which are BIPOC-led. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/ercMjJxw
