In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, which begins this weekend and goes through May 11, we’re proud to announce that Herb Kohl Philanthropies has provided a $2 million gift to the Future Museum project! This generous donation will, in part, establish the Herb Kohl Education Fund, providing educators with free memberships to the new museum during the first three years it’s open as well as connect them to the Future Museum’s resources that can help enhance their curriculum. During his inspiring career in business and public service, Herb Kohl also recognized the importance of investing in early childhood and K-12 education. We’re grateful that his legacy will continue through the Future Museum!

Only three weeks remain to have your donation up to $1,000 matched! Make it happen by joining The School Fund’s Honor Roll Program before December 31st and TSF will match your first-year donations up to $1,000. The Honor Roll is a monthly giving program that supports the entire School Fund platform, both allocating funds to complete students’ tuition and to help our nonprofit operations. Benefits of being an Honor Roll Member include: -Support multiple students at once. -Become a committed member of The School Fund community. -Make a long-term, lasting impact. -Your recurring tax-deductible donation, that you may edit or cancel at any time, can pay for the entire annual tuition of one or more students, purchase uniforms and textbooks, subsidize the cost of a student’s daily lunch as well as help The School Fund expand its reach. Nelson Mandela believed “Education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world.” Indeed, while the benefits of education are universal, equal access to education unfortunately is not. Click https://lnkd.in/gGnZ8v66 to become an Honor Roll member and have your generosity doubled over the next twelve months. Your recurring donation, regardless of the amount, will be greatly appreciated and more importantly, enable smart men and women to stay in school and to pursue their dreams. Remember, once a gift of an education is given it can never be taken away. Thank you. #education #philanthropy

On a mission to break cycles of poverty and prove our voice and raw stories change lives. Senior Tech Leader-Adobe. Published Author of “The Other Side” from a Shack to Silicon Valley. Non-Profit Founder. Latina in Tech.
Another 35 children receive hope through a Business Bookfairy 📚🧚♂️ - The counselor shown here 👇🏽 Thank you Gean Van Horn Van Horn and Sargon Eshagh CEO and VP of Marketing at zutBe. for making this possible. Sargon, thank you for personally delivering the books to Fischer Middle School too and supporting The Eastside Education Initiative (EEI). You were one of my first tech leaders at 23 and here we are over 25 years later … giving it back. Beautiful ❤️ Can we get more donors? One classroom at a time, one school at a time … How much? $220 for a classroom set of 35. That’s it 😍 so individuals and companies can all be part of this butterfly effect. Ps: grants ok too 🥰 I want books like this everywhere. Let’s prove that we can build demand backwards - that you the professional, that you a business sees value in HOPE books in schools. So by the time kids are out - we’ve shown them a job pathway option through story. Students need to see us to be us. 4000 books given for FREE to students in a year - for many their first book. We need to scale - if you have a way, reach out. Why so cheap? The cost to you the bookfairy donor is essentially cost but the impact - PRICELESS. ✨I’m aiming for impact✨ Thank you for all your support. Donate here or DM me https://lnkd.in/g2bqNpQ8 This many students get books with a classroom donation 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋 Also … Need chargers, battery packs from some really cool people, check out ZutBe.com Peace and love everyone ✌🏽❤️ #hope #books #nonprofit #education #motivation #jobs

Education unlocks potential, but financial barriers often block deserving students' paths—especially for first-generation and undocumented scholars. That's why we at Mission Graduates are proud to partner with the Mission Promise Neighborhood to provide critical support for students at John O'Connell High School. Our goal is to bridge the higher education gap. Even with traditional financial aid, students face tuition gaps, application fees, and technology costs. Undocumented students confront even greater hurdles as they don't qualify for government tuition assistance. Here's how you can make a difference: • Donate: Text MPNSF24 to 53-555 or visit givebutter.com/MPNSF24 to invest in their futures. • Volunteer: Let me know if you'd like to explore volunteering, including opportunities with scholarship selection. • Spread the Word: Share this post to raise awareness about #EducationEquity! #MissionGraduates #EducationEquity #UndocumentedStudents #FirstGeneration #CollegeAccess #SanFrancisco
This is how YOU can help Mission students get to college: The 9th annual Mission Promise Neighborhood Scholarship Fundraiser starts TODAY! For the past 9 years, Mission Promise Neighborhood (MPN) and Mission Graduates have teamed up to help college-bound seniors at John O'Connell High School reach the next step towards achieving their dreams with a college education. Today through May 15th, help us reach our goal of $10,000 to send our amazing Mission students to college. Donate by texting MPNSF24 to 53-555 or visiting givebutter.com/MPNSF24
