Hello folks! NYS Office of Information Technology Services’s Chief Information Security Office has posted nearly 50 positions on statejobs.ny.gov - positions range from entry level (ITS 2/ Grade 18) to experienced (Manager of Information Technology Services 1 (info sec)/Grade 27). These are union positions, specifically NYS Public Employees Federation and as such the salaries are based on the contract between NYS and PEF. That’s non-negotiable and new employees will start at the bottom of the range for their grade.
