By hosting an influencer event with food, fun, giveaways, and grilling tips, Taylor's connected with the hyper-niche audience they were after and created authentic reach. Establishing relationships with local influencers also helped with future community events, partnerships, and campaigns. Bonus: we had a blast!

STOP turning to influencers to fix your sales problems! I often hear (and see a lot of posts) of organizations searching for influencers with the expectation that flooding social media with your product is going to result in instant sales. That has never been, and will never be the case. Understanding how to tap into a community, starts with community management, and when done right can be very powerful, but treating influencers as a commodity will only result with dismal results and a blown budget.
