I think the coverslip is under-appreciated in a microscope - but it is actually the final optical element in your system! Please register for our webinar to find out how the coverslip is important and how to choose the best dish or coverslip for your experiment! Another key aspect of cells growing in situ is the stiffness of the cellular environment - it is usually soft, not as hard as glass or plastic. Tune into this webinar to learn how Matrigen can create soft surfaces for your cells and the effect that has on cell form and function. Key part of Matrigen products? There is no meniscus or edge effect, so you can image cells right up to the edge of the well!
👉 Klein Scientific Spring Webinar Series: Celebrating Live Cell Imaging! 👈 The Klein Scientific Webinar Series focuses on solutions and techniques for live cell imaging. Learn how the latest advances can improve your live cell imaging practices! Webinar number 2 will be covering cell dishes and matrix stiffness with Cellvis and Matrigen! The coverslip is a crucial part of the microscope. Learn how glass and polymer bottom dishes from CellVis can be used to improve your microscopy images. Cellvis plates are available in a range of dishes, multi-well plates and chambered coverslips. Then, Matrigen will present Softwell, easy to use hydrogel plates that can improve your cell growth via creating a soft environment for your cells to grow on. The stiffness of the cell environment can have profound effects on cell form and function and Matrigen will describe how Softwell can be tuned accordingly. Date: September 12 Time: LIVE at 10am Melbourne/Brisbane/Sydney time Register: https://lnkd.in/grcYCFhA Questions will be accommodated after the presentation. The webinar will be recorded for viewing after the event. Stay tuned for more webinars on live-cell imaging soon!

Embracing scientists translate ideas into outcomes through being the CEO of the fabulous BIOEMTECH team!
It is always nice to see how BIOEMTECH fillable mouse phantom, a simple idea that was intended for internal use, is helping multiple groups to develop new detectors and processing techniques. This new work from Javier Caravaca and his collaborators at University of California, San Francisco, shows how it becomes possible to measure very low activities of alpha emitters like Ac-225, which are not only hard to be imaged (due to their complicated decay schemes), but need to be administered at very low activities (due to toxicity), thus pushing imaging detectors to their limits. You can read more in the full paper: J. Caravaca et al., "A technique to quantify very low activities in regions of interest with a collimatorless detector," in IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging, doi: 10.1109/TMI.2024.3377142. https://lnkd.in/d9_NKtfm #radiopharmaceuticals #alphaemitters #theranostics #molecularimaging #nuclearmedicine #preclinicalimaging #drugdiscivery
