Incredibly proud to have won the Cognigy AI Experience Award, which celebrates the human centric approach we have implemented in adiBot. Too often we still see chatbots that are created solely by tech teams. And yes, they are important. But the real difference is made by looking at psychology and the human side of the experience. What do they really need? What is the question behind the question? Which integrations are needed to make it personal? How do we make sure that it does not feel like you are talking to a robot? These are questions I ask myself, and my team, daily. And it paid off. We didn’t just win this amazing award. But by introducing a personalized and consumer focused approach we managed to increase the chatbot’s NPS with over 60 points and improve containment levels with more than 30 percent points.  We were also able to create a global template that still allows for local nuances, which is live in 8 countries across the Americas and more to follow this year. While technology is amazing and the first step, it not some magical solution. Ultimately it is the people that make all the difference. And I have been lucky to have led some of the best. I lost my voice but leave the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity having gained insight, enrichment and inspiration. Huge thanks to my T&P𝑚 and WPP colleagues and Mars clients for their company and conviviality. Rather than tell you about personalisation at scale, AI, sports as shared cultural moments or community building (you may have spotted from other round-ups that they're a thing), I scoured my notebook for the ideas, analogies and insights that really struck a chord. Some have been lost to terrible handwriting but a selection are captured here… On AI as a creative accelerator. 📷 A lovely analogy from AI artist Claire Silver suggesting we consider ‘AI is a camera for the imagination’ 😵 And a push from Kate Mccagg of Amazon to treat AI hallucinations less as a bug and more as a feature – opportunities to explore serendipitous creative leaps On the need for continuous improvement. 🏁 Zak Brown, CEO of McLaren Racing shared that 80% of the car changes from the beginning to the end of the F1 season. So the car on pole for the first race would be at the back by the last if left untouched. On on-going test and learn. 🦈 We should learn from sharks who bite unfamiliar objects to as a means of examining them and determining their possible food value. So rather than being stuck in a continual cycle of theoretical discussion, we should get ‘biting’, putting our ideas out into the wild and seeing what works.
