Another great step forward for Foresight Automotive (#nasdaq and #tase: FRSX), an MS-IR LLC client, announcing a follow-up software proof-of-concept (POC) agreement with a leading Japanese vehicle manufacturer. This follows the successful completion of two prior POC projects. Foresight's ScaleCam™, a 3D perception solution, will be evaluated for integration into the manufacturer's existing Level 2 and Level 3 ADAS systems. The project aims to enhance existing safety features and assess the feasibility of rapid software integration. A successful POC could lead to deeper collaboration, potentially resulting in the integration of Foresight's technology into the manufacturer's mass-produced vehicles. SOFTWARE: eSync Alliance updates #OTA data exchange standard to boost interoperability and advance #SDV development The #eSyncAlliance – a global automotive initiative established to build a secure, multi-vendor platform for end-to-end over-the-air updating and #data services for the connected car – has updated its standard-setting specification for over-the-air (OTA) data exchange. Mike Gardner, executive director of the eSync Alliance, said, “With Version 2.2 of our specification, we’re standardizing the standard. Users of #eSync technology can rest assured that, by implementing the latest edition of the specification and making use of the Agent ValidationTool, they’re able to create interoperable solutions that will shape the SDVs of the future." PARTNERSHIP: BrightDrive and SiMa.ai collaborate on AD technology development The companies are looking to leverage SiMa.ai's #MLSoC technology and BrightDrive's advanced hardware platform. BrightDrive's HW Platform is designed to support #selfdriving applications ranging from Level 1 to 5. This platform, #BrightDrive says, has processing capabilities, high #data bandwidth, low power consumption and is Automotive Safety Integrity Level D (ISO 26262) compliant.
