Candidate Opportunities As I reflect on the positions applied to over the past year, I realize the barriers in place to marginalize certain parts of the potential workforce. Trust me I am not complaining, I am observing and experiencing the reality of the challenges for mature candidates. I recently read the article (link below) and it rang true to my experience. Talk to your talent acquisition team to understand if there are segments of the candidate pool that are overlooked to understand why. 'The war for talent" was mentioned everywhere a little while ago Whilst I am pleased that particular phraseology has passed There are many industries / roles where fastest to talent wins Especially if you are recruiting in the volume market Where candidates just need a job... fast Applying with mobile phone in hand Not a CV in sight Often times outside of traditional business hours Most likely yours is not the only role they are applying to either Being "open for applications" 24/7 gets you ahead of the rest Some interesting perspective attached..... #highvolumehiring #talentacquisition
