We cannot deny that a good salary is one of the top components in a job but it's not always the main reason why people switch jobs.🔃 When it comes to quoting a reason to switch a job, we mostly hear people telling us that they are leaving due to bad bosses, toxic culture, lack of growth opportunities, not being valued etc. These are all signs of a culture that needs correction!🪄 A workplace needs to be thriving and positive. It should be a place that invites high levels of engagement and commitment while offering ample flexibility and support to its employees.👩💼 Share with us what makes you thrive at your workplace? #letsbuildamazingworkplaces #amazingworkplaces #culture Ekta Capoor Shreyasi Raghav

Look, 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘆 will always be important to job seekers when they’re considering where to apply and whether to accept. But there’s something they actually care about more than money these days, and that’s their 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸-𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲. I say this as the President and CEO at KIP Search who talks to job seekers every day, but it’s also quantifiable in a recent poll by Randstad, the world’s biggest employment agency, which recently found that 57% of workers would simply not 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁 a job that would negatively impact their work-life balance, 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗳 𝗶𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿. What exactly does that constitute? Things like the ability to work from home at least some of the time and to set their own hours — within reason, of course. Whether or not you’re working with a recruiter to improve your prospects for hiring the right talent, take a look at these factors. Working with a recruiter can also help you really sell your benefits — including work-life balance options — to prospective employees. #worklifebalance #remotework #careerchoices #workculture #leadership

All of this 💯💯💯% 📍Also, please, if your job comes with perks like working from home etc, don't dismiss those perks to your employer as not needed! You may not need them but someone applying for that same role somewhere within the organisation might! Your dismissal makes the employer pull those perks from subsequent job descriptions for that role! #dontpulltheladder #Thewanderingnurse #thewanderingnurseacademy #careercoach #careertips #knowyourworth

Feeling valued, appreciated, and fairly compensated at our current workplace is unparalleled. Even a job offer doubling our current salary can't replace that. Companies should recognize that when someone switches jobs, it's often because they feel that they have no other choice. Happy employees stay, unhappy ones leave - simple as that. #humannature #change #jobs #workplace #culture
