Through HERB programs and services we help people meet their immediate needs, while improving their well-being and future outcomes, as a no cost public benefit, funded by donations. Visit our Website: herbnonprofit.org
The giving that gives back to you! Indulge in new experiences and create memories, while helping others. Your participation in our auction, and any donations given, will raise funds toward our mission and funding need. On average, it takes $250 to provide a one-time service to end food and clothing insecurities, or cover the cost of youth sports, music or STEM registration and fees, and other relief for one participant. Each $250 raised guarantees provision for someone's needs, or development, through one of HERB's program services. $500 provides program services for two (2) people in need $1,250 provides program services for five (5) people in need $2,000 provides program services for eight (8) people in need $5,000 provides program services for twenty (20) people in need Auction Page: herb.betterworld.org Website: herbnonprofit.org Campaign: givesendgo.com/GCAX5 YouTube: https://lnkd.in/g3hWsxF6

GivingTuesday has become one of the biggest giving days of the year. But it’s also a day crowded with pleas for donations. So, how does an organization stand out from the crowd and improve its chances of gifts on the day? The Chronicle interviewed organizations and consultants to find tips that can help nonprofits maximize their odds of success GivingTuesday. Telling your donors it’s OK to give early and joining forces with other nonprofits for ideas or events are among top tips. Some organizations even auction off meaningful — but low or no cost —items to their community members. Example: a school auctioning the first spot in the drop off line or a close-in parking space for a month. Easter Sunday is just around the corner, and here's how you can lock in those MEGA EVENTS! Now is the perfect time to prepare for the upcoming busy summer months. It's also the ideal opportunity to secure larger bookings from schools, churches, daycares, city parks, and more. While landing these big events may seem daunting, focusing on four key steps will soon have your phone ringing with inquiries from organizations in your area. The 4 steps are S.A.L.E. We utilized the Chamber of Commerce and LinkedIn to identify schools in our area. We then reached out to them with a letter and a printed brochure. This strategy resulted in numerous calls from schools eager to work with us. Mention a donation in the letter to prompt them to contact you. Let them know that you will only be contributing a portion of the event. The donation can be monetary, or you can even donate games that would otherwise be sitting in your warehouse. Feeling ready to tackle those mega events and boost your business? Let me know if you want a copy of the letter format! #BounceHouse #BounceHouseBusiness #PartyRental #PartyRentalMarketing #EasterSeason #SpringSeason #PeakSeason #EasterSunday

🌟 Sacramento's Big Day of Giving 2024 is just 2 weeks away but early giving starts today! We're excited to spotlight Meristem and asked Emma, 1st year at Meristem, what she's likes about Meristem: "Community!" We couldn't love her answer more. Meristem is where life long friendships are made and students feel a sense of belonging. For some students, it's the first time they've had that. 💙 Give early, learn more about our program, set up a fundraiser page to help us spread the word about our program or give early by visiting our Big Day of Giving webpage: https://lnkd.in/gYR2D49X 💡 BDOG tip: Give with a Golden 1 Credit Union debit or credit card, and your donations will make an outsized impact, because Golden 1 Credit Union is proportionately matching its members' donations — up to $100,000! 🗓️ Mark your calendars for Meristem's in-person Big Day of Giving garden & nature event. More details to come. #AwakenthePossible #BigDayofGiving2024 #bdog24 #Sacramento #Nonprofit #AutismAwareness #AutismAwarenessMonth #Give #WorkSkills #Transition #LifeSkills #Program

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 "𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴" 𝗽𝘂𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲... 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 "𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝘂𝘁": ❓ Can you deliver on the promises you made - when you asked for the money? ❓ Will you surprise and delight along the way? ❓ Will time spent with you - be time well spent? If you get a second donation - the answer to the above questions is YES! ✅ The proof is in the pudding - the donor is coming back for more. ✅ If you get an uplift in value - they're coming back for more with bells on. People tend to celebrate the hell out of the first "try out" donation - high fives, emails shooting around the office and drinks down the pub. And then a much more quiet celebration for the second donation. I've always thought that was the wrong way round. Go more bananas for the second donation. The first - is a try out. The second - is when you actually have a donor. 🤜 And validation that your donor experience is everything you hoped it would be. After all, your goal is to create a community of donors - not a collection of donations. 📌 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁. 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗿𝗲 𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 - 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆'𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂. Celebrate the hell out of that...😀 🎉🎉🎉

Last year, I posted about the organizations I donated funds to celebrate today’s holiday. This year, I am choosing to celebrate with offering kindness and abundance. -How can I #support you? -Do you need an #introduction? -Do you need a second review of your LinkedIn profile? -Do you need some additional guidance? An ear to listen? Some kind words? A compliment? -How can I encourage, promote, or amplify your message? Here to help (for real). Trying to spread some good sh*t around.
