In collaboration with HotelPartner Revenue Management, we dive into his fascinating story, the evolution of the Schiehser Hotel Group, and his advice for aspiring hoteliers.   💬 “I realised at a young age that I wanted to pursue a career in the hospitality industry. After working in various destinations, including Hawaii and Dubai, I took the plunge and took over my first hotel.”   🏨 Starting with Hotel Westbahn in Vienna in 2019, Alexander rapidly expanded to 16 unique hotels across Germany and Austria, offering everything from shared hostel rooms to luxurious suites with whirlpool baths.   ⚡ On keeping up with market changes: “The hotel market is in a state of rapid change... That’s why it’s important for us to keep an eye on the latest trends and stay one step ahead, hence our secret motto: ‘It’s always been done this way – doesn’t exist for us.’”   📈 Despite the challenges, “The most important thing is to maintain control between revenue and costs,” especially as the market evolves from the pandemic to a resurgence in travel and conventions.   ✨ Curious to learn more?
