However, her father, a former Hollywood makeup artist, brought light into her world through his pharmacy and costume store. 📚Book Review: Finding Me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This book is just wow! 🤯 To read about someone’s life story as hard as Viola’s is both humbling and inspiring! I read this book because I love Viola Davis as an actress! She’s so convincing and versatile and powerful on screen! Much like she talked about in the book, she’s a dark-skinned woman and we don’t usually get plastered on the big screen. I love this for her and women like me! #representationmatters I gave this book 5 stars it’s so real and raw! She leaves nothing out and brings you into the gravity of her life. Ups and downs. Internal battles and external. She owns her story and that’s something I highly respect!
