On Tuesday, June 3rd, 2024, the collecting module of the Chinese Chang'e 6 mission left the Moon, leaving behind our NG-MEDIUM embedded in the DORN equipment. This French instrument is tasked with measuring radon emission and is a key information in our understanding of the Moon inner workings. As a part of the FUSIO RT, produced by 3D PLUS, NG-MEDIUM can thus contribute to a great scientific endeavor. It is a great achievement for NanoXplore, as we are very proud to reach the confines of space with our Radiation Hardened components. NG-MEDIUM is our first space qualified rad-hard FPGA used in many space missions. The component development was supported by CNES, European Space Agency - ESA and the European Union and has been Space Qualified in 2021.
