I saw this quote recently and it gave me some pause. "In many cases, the capabilities that the department (Defense) needs already exist. The difficulty lies in adopting and scaling them," -Michael Bloomberg, chair of the Pentagon's Defense Innovation Board I keep hearing from federal government customers that its not innovation they need - it's INTEGRATION. Why don't we form a Defense INTEGRATION Board and start to locate opportunities across the massive swath of capabilities that already exist? If we have more focused investments on integration, imagine how much time and money we could save in our budget that goes towards building "New" things that already exist and we already pay for. #innovation #integration #defense

The center has moved from Bill Clinton beginning the socialist process of enriching the poor Democrat party by the cozy and corrupt third world co-existence of government and the markets to the far left of Barack Obama and Kamala Harris, of full on socialism now that the Democrats are rich, thanks to Clinton, just as China’s Communist Party is rich. The whole world is now a feast for the British Fabian Society which had founded the Labor Party with world socialism as its core mission, adopted by the non-aligned Third World after World War II led by India, Egypt, and Yugoslavia. Europe has already been socialist for a long time. In response, we have the ethno-centric and misogynist fascism of Donald Trump. The vast middle, where I am, is floundering rudderless, ranks growing, unaffiliated both with the far left and the far right. The dark side is both the far left and the far right, just as authoritarian as each other together burning the house down. The light is my middle. This where United States Department of Defense and Office of the Director of National Intelligence must always be as the eyes and ears of the partisans to hold their otherwise drunken line straight which can fail the sailor breathalizer test. Donald Trump wants to build a Great Wall by Rio Grande, the British and Irish have castles, of course, Brussels is a musty bureaucratic town, and the Pentagon is No Way Out unless you are Kevin Costner with a dead girlfriend having an affair with a man of power. Soon there will be walls in orbit with Space Force, moats and all filled with crocs and Trojan horses outside the gates with Elon Musk making Ronald Reagan’s Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI) dubbed Star Wars just before the last Cold War ended in 1989 happen, no matter who is president, Harris or Trump. Spot-on editorial from the WSJ that echoes what I wrote in Real Clear Defense last week. A full-year continuing resolution would hurt our military, weaken our national security, and jeopardize the industrial base that supports both. It shouldn’t even be on the table.   It’s also just bad business sense. Would you ever use last year’s budget to confront this year’s roadmap for your own business? No, because it would be wasteful.
