𝐃𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠? 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞'𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝𝐧'𝐭...
Before we get into things, you should know that this is a story about one of my most trying periods as an individual.
I went to ESUT's Pharmacy school, well known in the school and beyond for being extra strict about who could move on to the next level (or not).
To paint you a mental picture...
My class size dropped from over 120 to just above 80, including students who had to redo a year (or were on probation), and that's just for my first year.
I was bothered because I didn't want to let my parents down.
And as if things were not bad enough already, we had to shell out some extra money for fees at some point.
It was a crazy journey in all, and I almost had to repeat the first year (a story for some other day).
Another really embarrassing life experience but I don't regret it, why?...
Well, that was my "Eureka moment" as far as Pharmacy school is concerned.
You see... I set a goal there and then, to graduate with the best grades possible.
And you know what?... Somehow the universe seemed to align with me.
Fast-forward to today, I'm a Pharmacy graduate (awaiting induction) with a CGPA of 4.5/5.0 and it makes a whole world of difference to me.
So why the long, boring story about my almost-failure?
I don't know who needs to hear this but, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐫𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠.
All the temporary defeats(which most mistake for permanent failure) might just be there to point you toward your "Eureka moment".
Never sell yourself short and always believe you're worth whatever you want, and more!
That being said, those were my academic goals, now I have business goals and I aim to crush them as well (maybe better).
