#PlasticFreeJuly - what are you doing differently to support the reduction of plastic waste? At #glastonburyfestival we had reusable plastic cups at our Acoustic Crew bar (as we have had for the last few years) but the challenge with these is that not only do you have to remember to bring them to the bar to reuse - they need to be reused at least 10 times to be more sustainable than paper / corn starch cups. Mindsets are changing, it took a while to adjust to bringing our own bags to the supermarket and it will take time. Last year around 40% of the plastic cups were returned to be reused, this year the goal is around 80%. As a consumer it can be very difficult to make the best choices when it comes to reducing our plastic usage. @thglabs we are working hard to improve this.
