Discover Saskatoon is Leading the Way in Saskatchewan 🌟 I'm incredibly proud of the strides we've made in transforming our city into a beacon for national and international business events. This Global Meetings Industry Day (GMID), gives us a moment to reflect on the profound impact these gatherings have on our local and provincial economy. Last year alone, Saskatoon hosted 31 significant business events, injecting an impressive $22,075,693 into our economy and positioning us as leaders within Saskatchewan in the meetings industry. These events aren't just numbers; they're opportunities—sparking innovation, driving investment, and attracting human capital to our province. Our achievements are the result of unwavering commitment and collaboration with partners across the city and beyond, including the City of Saskatoon, Saskatoon Destination Marketing Hotels Inc., The Saskatoon Tribal Council, and Tourism Saskatchewan. Together, we are not just hosting events; we are creating a vibrant ecosystem that nurtures economic growth and community development. Let's continue to champion the power of meetings and events. By doing so, we drive investment opportunities, inspire human capital, and lay the groundwork for a thriving future for Saskatchewan. Join us in celebrating the impact of our efforts and the bright future ahead. #GMID2024 #DiscoverSaskatoon #SaskatchewanPride #InnovationThroughCollaboration https://lnkd.in/dJms3rmp
